Hoseok PoV
"Mira... he just won't admit it." I heard a grumpy voice and then my second grandmother stepped through the door... I recognized her from the picture in the nymph spring. She looked around in surprise when she noticed all the people and when her gaze lingered on me, tears ran down her cheeks.
"Oh my little Hoseok..." she sniffled and I raised a brow as I towered over her by a good head.
"Uh... hello grandma." I replied a little reluctantly, but she had already pulled me close and was now pulling my cheeks apart and then squeezing them together.
"Child, you look like your parents.... such a handsome one. But tell me... why aren't you a vampire yet?" she asked, irritated.
"Because of you and mom... I didn't know if I could trust them." I said and she furrowed her brow.
"You have to complete the bond as soon as possible. Only together will you be strong enough for what's to come. Didn't your heart tell you that you could trust her? All of them?" she wanted to know and I smiled sheepishly.
"Yes, I did... but your words confused me..." I explained what I had seen and heard and she understood.
"Your mother would be pleased to know that you are so loyal to us, even though you didn't grow up with us..." she smiled, but immediately became serious again when a guard entered the room.
"Your Highness, the prisoner, he's been freed..." he shouted and my grandmother, whose name I didn't even know yet, as I just realized, hurried out into the castle courtyard, where Yeosang held a badly beaten Lycan in his arms and continued to walk towards us.
Both of my grandmothers had stopped in front of them by now, and when they looked at Yeosang, they both sucked in their breath in shock.
"Mira... you feel it too, don't you?"
"Yes, Celia... that's him... the child of all nations..."
"And he's our great-grandson..." they both looked at him, stunned.
"My two sweet great-grandmothers... nice to meet you, you don't mind if I take my companion with me, do you? He told you the truth, he knows nothing... but I can give you some information. Not only do I have the knowledge of dragons, the cunning of elves, the magic of witches, the charm of nymphs, the strength of vampires, the adaptability of humans, the will of lycans... I have the seer abilities of the fairies... stronger because it's been enhanced by all the other magic. I know where my grandmother is." he explained and handed San into Wooyoung's arms, who happily took him over and immediately hugged him.
"I can feel a warm spring, I'll take him with me and heal him in the water," he said and Yeosang nodded. The two older witches looked at each other and took a deep breath. There was hope in their eyes that made my heart tighten. They were so desperate to find my mother and that was my goal now. We now moved from Hongjoong's parents' house to the royal chambers, as we were starting to run out of space.
"Yeosang..." I started, as I wanted to know where my mother was and he immediately began to tell me.
"She's with the Lycans, the Alpha kidnapped her. He's been trying to produce an heir for years, but none of his mates get pregnant with a son... He's already killed several because he blamed them... but now he's on his sixth mate and nothing... he has finally accepted that it is up to him and hopes that grandma can help him with her magic. She's fine, for now... she has made it, but there is one problem... he has threatened her that if the child is a girl, he will have her executed... and it will be a girl... we still have two months until the birth, we have to get her out of there before then." he told me and my heart seemed to stop for a moment... We had to save her... I didn't want to lose her before I could even get to know her...
