Keeping to the shadows of the trees, I flew in the direction where Yeosang had disappeared with his team and found them after a short time, in the small wooded area right next to the pack house. Luna was standing nervously behind some bushes and then came out hesitantly when she saw us.
"You must be the rescue party Yunho told me about? San... good to see you're still alive..." she asked quietly and we nodded.
"Where is the queen? Can you take me to her?" Hongjoong asked and she nodded.
"No, Luna... it's too dangerous, let's do it, just tell us the way. We can get in and out without being seen." Yeosang immediately objected and Hongjoong looked guilty, as he hadn't considered this in his ambition to save the Queen of Witches.
"She's in a room surrounded by spells... this is where the back door goes in, I just left it ajar for you, then all the way down the right hallway, it's the second to last door on the left.... there's a guard in the room with her, you'll have to take them out, the rest of the pack is busy partying... and San... your father is creating a distraction that should start any minute... I'm supposed to tell you that he's proud of you." Luna explained and I saw tears glistening in San's eyes.
"Luna, come with me, I'll take you to safety." I offered her my hand to take her to the clearing with the others, where we would wait for the queen to be freed.

After Jungkook took Luna away, we crept to the back door where Yeosang renewed the fairy dust once more, then we stepped into the empty hallway and followed the path Luna had described. It was strange to be back here after so long, knowing that my parents were doing their best to keep everyone distracted in the other wing of the mansion, and it was noisy too. Cheering shouts indicated that my father must have had an exhibition match against one of the warriors, where he was sure to buy time by using good tactics.
"We should hurry, I don't know how long the warriors will be distracted enough for one of them not to come out by accident..." I urged the others, who followed me down the corridor.
"I can already see the spell flickering outside the door." Hongjoong said, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a few Elexire. He stopped and held the palms of his hands against them, looking at the signs on the door and then shook his head, visibly angry.
"They forced her to lock herself in... with her own magic and locked out her magic power at the same time... Seonghwa, you have no witch blood in you, but your fire can burn away the spell.... Yeosang's fire has witch magic in it, so he can't do that.... burn the runes off the door..." he clarified and immediately Seonghwa let a targeted stream of fire shoot out of his maw, burning all the symbols off the door and the flickering subsided, but did not go out completely.
"As soon as the door opens, I'll take out the guard and you grab the queen." Yeosang instructed me and I nodded, tensing my muscles and readying myself to strike as quickly as possible.
Hongjoong raised his hand again, this time not groping, but with his palm outstretched flat, letting energy flow towards the door and tipping three Elexire against it one after the other with the other. With a poof, the flickering went out and he kicked the door open, then took a step back and was grabbed by Seonghwa, who carried him away at vampire speed, probably not wanting to take any chances with his companion. At the same time, Yeosang and I rushed into the room and I was about to grab the queen when Yeosang warned me.
"Decoy spell... don't touch her..."
