"I'd really like to... but you've just gone through a difficult transformation, I don't think it would do any harm if we waited a little longer." I looked at the dragon worriedly.
"I'll manage," he tried to convince me, but I remained skeptical.
"Are there any recorded cases of dragons turning into vampires for you to be so sure? I don't want anything to happen to you." I remained stubborn and he sighed. He nuzzled his head against mine and rubbed his cheek against my face, even though I wasn't really the type who liked to cuddle... ah... who was I lying to here, probably myself the most... these dragon caresses were just meltingly sweet. He smiled cutely and I saw the most beautiful dimples anyone could have.
"Oh... how cute are you? Who gave you permission to be so cute? Can I bite your cheek? I think I'm developing another pangolin here." Jungkook exclaimed delightedly, while Jin giggled. Mingi came sulking over to Jin and sat on his lap.
"So, Eomma... how about you find me a companion here, I'm ready for a wedding arranged by my mom, then I can try out if the transformation is safe for hyung." he said and Jin raised an eyebrow.
"Yah, you're not my little baby from yesterday anymore, you're a full grown man." He complained.
"But I'm still your baby, I'll always be your sweet baby and you my proud eomma..." Mingi whined and clung to Jin, who was now rubbing his back comfortingly. The right drama queens had really met.
"It's okay, little one, you'll be my baby forever..." Jin said and I heard Jungkook giggle. I hid my face against Namjoon's chest so I wouldn't be seen smirking, but the dragon had noticed. His look told me that my secret was safe with him. There was a knock at the door and after my summons, Jackson entered, not only my right-hand man and the army's commander-in-chief... but also my cousin, the one I'd grown up with and the person I trusted more than anyone else.
"We're recording unusually high Lycan sightings, at our northern barrier, right next to the Dragon Mountains." he informed me.
"Have they tried to cross the border yet? Or did they even realize there was a magical barrier?" I asked him. He looked around indecisively, he knew about Jin and Jungkook, but I couldn't talk to him about the two dragons yet. He looked irritated as Namjoon clung to me and Mingi sat on Jin's lap.
"There were attempts to cross over, but the mutts that tried got a good roasting... they can be carried to their pack extra crispy." a slightly spiteful smile played around his lips.
"What are we going to do about the Alpha, he knows the vampires are still there now..." asked Jin, but I grinned.
"He can't expose us without making himself suspicious and exposing himself to the other races." It was true, he could do absolutely nothing for us right now if he didn't want the other races to know about his duplicity.
"Put more patrols on the borders, they'll soon stop looking for the dragons and think we killed them. They'll think we were up to what we interfered with, taking out serious enemies, when we were there for completely different reasons... he doesn't know what we're really up to and I don't know if he'll even find out in his lifetime." I said and Jackson nodded.
"Earl Jackson..." Jin's voice rang out as the older vampire was about to leave.
"Yes, sire?" he turned his attention to my companion, who still had the dragon on his lap.
"Please show Mingi the castle..." he demanded with a grin and I immediately knew what he had in mind...
