Before Mingi could roast Jackson, Seonghwa jumped out of the bowl and flew between his parents.

"No... Don't break it, Appa is not fireproof." he shouted and Mingi's angry expression immediately changed and his gaze softened.

"I didn't want to burn him... but a little fire under his butt won't hurt him either. He needs it from time to time," Mingi explained to his child, who giggled and then cuddled his parents extensively. Namjoon and Mingi decided to sleep together with the little ones in the hall, while everyone else was sent to their rooms, as Yeosang and Seonghwa insisted on having exclusive privacy for their dragons at least when they turned into full-grown dragons. Jin and Jungkook sulked because they didn't want to let our dragon baby out of their sight, but in the end I just dragged them along, I was the oldest vampire, which is why I was the strongest, they didn't stand a chance.

I woke up in the morning to someone biting my wrist and started drinking heavily. Grumbling, I rubbed my eyes with my free hand and blinked, because it felt strange. There was no sexual tension like there usually was with my companions and a different smell filled my nose. Suddenly I was properly awake and sat up, looking at the young man who had his teeth in my vein and then stroked his hair with a smile. No one had to tell me who he was, just by the smell of vampire I knew it was my son. Vampires drank from their parents from time to time, until their system got used to the blood, as they only found their mates in adulthood. Yeosang was still a newborn vampire, and since he hadn't been changed, he acted naturally, like a vampire child... except that he was no longer a child. He was a half-blood, stronger than turned vampires, but subject to more vampire rules than them. I felt such a strong love for him, very different from my mates, or my parents back then... I would protect him with my life if I had to. Tears welled up in my eyes because he smelled of family, of my bloodline. Eventually he'd had enough to drink and looked up at me.

"Oh wow, you're so pretty." I said proudly and immediately pulled him into my arms, hugging him to me.

"Yah, Eomma... you're crushing me..." he scolded, but also wrapped his arms around me and rubbed his cheek against mine.

"Our baby... they grow up so fast..." I heard Jungkook sniffle after he entered the room. Yeosang snorted.

"Tell me, is he always such a drama queen? Every time he sees me, it starts to glitter around him and he cries." he wanted to know and I smiled amusedly.

"Yes, but that's nothing, Seokjin is even worse... he can't glitter, but sometimes he steals fairy dust from Kookie and throws it into the air above him so that he has the glitter effect too," I said and Yeosang joined me in a little giggle. As Yeosang laughed and beamed from ear to ear, it started to glitter around him too.

"Looks like you inherited the drama gene too." I pointed out to him that he was producing fairy dust, to which he sighed in disbelief.

"Yeah, look at that... I also have the genes, the companions that are still missing..." he pointed to his pointed ears from the elves, lifted his shirt and I saw his upper arms and the sides of his torso shining with orange nymph scales. Then he extended Lycan claws from his fingers and conjured a flower in his hand with a flick of his wrist.

"You... you are simply all the races in one person..." I stared at him open-mouthed. I knew our child was special... but I hadn't expected that...
