We lay in the soft moss for hours, kissing as if we would starve without each other's lips, kissing again and again, until at some point we simply lay quietly in each other's arms, the spell weakening. Still, I didn't want to break away from Hoseok, these feelings, it wasn't just lust through a spell, we hadn't done more than kiss, it was more as if something inside us had been broken open and set free, feelings that had been dormant inside us, pushed to the surface with all their might. I rested my head on his chest, listening to the steady beating of his heart, which had calmed down a little, while his hands played with my hair.

"What exactly just happened? Why were there so many sparks around us?" I asked into the silence." He took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling with me on it, before answering.

"My magic... there was a seal over it, it dissolved and all my powers were released. My mother had hidden it as well as my identity." he explained and I nodded. I had felt the connection, it was in every fiber of my body, stretching around us like an invisible energy, making us not want to let go.

"You are the prince..." I obviously said, even though I realized he had wanted to hide it. He had clearly found out at the source, yet he hadn't said anything when we had asked him.

"I'm still not going to join your little team," he said calmly, which made me furrow my brows.

"But, you're one of us... you must feel it too..." confused, I turned my face in his direction and looked into his beautiful eyes.

"I feel something, yes... I want to keep you in my arms all the time, I never want to let you go... but I don't want to lose my identity and then become a vampire lackey." he said and my eyes widened.

"You see my companions as minions? We are equals, we love each other..." I explained indignantly.

"Well, you're really pushing Jin around," he commented.

"Well... that's something completely different, it's not what it seems... that's our thing... he bugs me, I shoo him around and then... um... then we do nice things together..." I said, slightly embarrassed.

"I... so take my time... I just don't know if I can trust you." he sighed resignedly, probably frustrated that I had found out the truth so quickly.

"Hobi... we're not forcing you into the covenant... please at least stay with us... Don't go away." The thought that he might leave us brought tears to my eyes. His gaze softened.

"Where would I go? I'm waiting for TaeTae at your place and Hongjoong is teaching me what I need to know. Nothing has changed about either of them." he promised me gently. Somehow I had to show him that we needed him, that he needed us... that we meant him no harm.

"We should get back... the others are probably worried already." I didn't want to leave, but we had to, it also wasn't fair to Jimin, who had just arrived at the castle, that we didn't properly care about his arrival. Hoseok looked into my eyes and kissed me one last time as the lightning began to flash again and we were suddenly on my bed. The room was strangely empty, but I could hear voices coming from the bathroom. We got up and followed the sounds into the bathroom, where all my companions were sitting with Jimin in the huge bathing pool set into the floor. Jimin was sitting on Namjoon's lap and had snuggled up to him, while Kookie was clutching Jin as if he would otherwise run away, but when he saw me, he jumped out of the water naked, hugging me first, before reaching out and giving Hobi a good punch in the jaw, causing him to lose his balance and fall splashing into the pool...
