"Can you see a pharmacy?"

"No."

"Neither do I."

The tour bus driver turned the steering wheel and said seriously, "I'm sorry, young comrades. Big brother used to travel along the Xiang River on long-haul trips, and this area doesn't have a large pharmacy. The small drugstores won't have the suppressant you're looking for..."

"Suppressant," Guo Weixiang reminded.

"Right, suppressant," the driver said. "You can find a Tongrentang shop if you turn the corner ahead. It's been a few years since I was here, I'm not sure if it's still open..."

Dr. Zheng spoke kindly, "Xiao Ren, should we take a look?"

Ren Junyang was a reserved and quiet individual, not one to speak up. One day after he arrived, Zhou Rong got into a fight with Guo Weixiang over whether the organization could enforce marriages. After the fight, Zhou Rong was very helpless and had to ask Ren Junyang for his opinion. But Zhou Rong had just finished a fight and wasn't prepared to take Ren Junyang's opinion seriously. He didn't have a warm tone, but rather a slightly cold one. Ren Junyang hesitated and couldn't articulate a complete sentence for a long time. Zhou Rong pressed for answers with a couple more questions, and Ren Junyang unexpectedly started crying, which scared Zhou Rong and made him take a quick step back.

Dr. Zheng softened his tone further. "Xiao Ren?"

Ren Junyang fidgeted with his fingertips, his voice barely louder than a mosquito's buzz. "I, I don't know..."

The group exchanged glances, and Guo Weixiang patted the driver. Helpless, he said, "Let's go check it out."

However, the driver let everyone down. After more than ten minutes of circling around, they finally found a Tongrentang shop a few blocks away, but the sign read: "Store located on the minus two floor of the mall."

In the cold winter, nearing evening, most zombies hid underground in large buildings to stay warm. Si Nan looked down the underground passage with a gun on his back, shook his head, and said, "We can't get in. Let's forget it."

Dr. Zheng reminded, "Captain Zhou and the others should have succeeded already. We need to quickly find a rendezvous point nearby. Xiao Ren, what do you think?"

Everyone's gaze shifted to Ren Junyang. He blushed, hesitated, and couldn't speak.

Si Nan cast a glance at Guo Weixiang, who shrugged.

Si Nan, pressing Ren Junyang's shoulder, said uncompromisingly, "Come with me."

He pushed Ren Junyang into the back of the bus, had him sit down, and took a seat himself. He crossed his arms and studied Xiao Ren's timid face. "What are you going to do?"

Ren Junyang's large eyes glistened with tears, and he seemed on the verge of crying.

Si Nan raised an eyebrow.

"...," Ren Junyang's impending whine was frightened back by Si Nan.

"You make your decision. If you don't want them to arbitrarily assign you an Alpha, just say who you like, and I'll make sure they respect your opinion. Otherwise, it will make escaping more difficult. Cooperate."

"...," Ren Junyang turned pale, staring at Si Nan with a stunned expression, as if he was frightened by the phrase, "You make your decision."

Si Nan tapped his wristwatch. "I have thirty seconds of patience."

Ren Junyang seemed to find it hard to believe that he could be so stern with himself as an Omega. After a long while, he managed to squeeze out, "I, I don't know anything, I have no opinion..."
