22:00 PM.

As the sound of the shower in the bathroom stopped, Si Nan casually dried his short, wet hair with a towel. He quickly put on a T-shirt, jacket, and black work pants. Silently, he walked to the dormitory door and turned the doorknob.

His movements were extremely subtle, but Zhou Rong still noticed it, stirring slightly, "Hm?"

Si Nan stopped in his tracks.

"What time is it?" Zhou Rong asked sleepily, "Where are you going?"

Si Nan whispered, "Nine o'clock. I'm going to find Ning Yu."

Zhou Rong made a sound of acknowledgment, and Si Nan, like a shadow in the dark, slipped out of the room and blended into the night within moments.

A moment later, Zhou Rong suddenly woke up, and he quickly got out of bed shirtless, grabbing the alarm clock to check the time.

"Si Nan?" He rolled out of bed, rushed to the door, and opened it, calling, "Si Nan?!"

The area around the airport was brightly lit, and the news of the elite reconnaissance battalion from the Inner Mongolia base searching the canyon fruitlessly had come in. The final group of search and rescue personnel organized by the South Sea Headquarters was about to take their positions, and the supplies had already been transported to the airport.

Military vehicles shuttled back and forth, unloading ammunition, survival supplies, parachute packs, and more on the runway. Soldiers carried them into the small planes. Si Nan stood near the wire fence outside the runway, and a sentry immediately spotted him, shouting, "What are you doing? Stop! No entry in this military area!"

Si Nan glanced at him, changed his course, and walked towards him.

"Go back! Hey, what are you doing... cough..."

Si Nan swiftly grabbed the sentry's neck, twisting it to render him unconscious, and dragged him into the bushes.

A few minutes later, he emerged from the bushes, wearing the sentry's coat and a camouflage cap that covered half his face. He walked onto the runway.

"Last call for checking ammunition, get ready to load it!" A lieutenant with a megaphone shouted instructions while walking around. He pointed and said, "Hey, you there! Bring those tactical bags on board!"

Si Nan stood silently at attention and saluted, picking up one of the thirty-kilogram standard tactical backpacks piled at his feet. He also grabbed a box of ammunition and walked through the busy soldiers packing equipment, heading towards the aircraft.

The lieutenant didn't pay much attention and turned away, but then he hesitated and turned back as if lost in thought.

"Wait a minute?"

Si Nan, facing the strong wind, walked towards the boarding ladder. The lieutenant observed his slender back and hesitated, taking a few steps forward.

"Hey! I told you to wait!"

Paratrooper camp office, twenty special forces soldiers were preparing their equipment for departure. Brigadier Zheng and Captain Kong were standing in front of a table, where a large topographic map of the mountains was spread out. They used a pen to point and gesture at it, saying, "You will parachute from here. Pay attention to the search depth, don't go too deep. This is a critical area, and their last signal location is roughly in this range before they went missing..."

"Colonel!"

"Major!"

Colonel Zheng and Captain Kong both looked up and saw Zhou Rong, who was still wet with the night air, rushing into the room, "Si Nan is missing."
