Zhou Rong had to persuade the military political commissar for quite some time to get permission to send Yan Hao out. However, before Yan Hao even entered the special isolation ward, he was forcibly blocked by several of Tang Hao's men at the door.
The "young man named Yan" leaned against the wall in the hospital corridor, absorbed in playing the PSP borrowed from a nurse. When someone called him, he looked up in surprise, "Hey, wasn't it supposed to be a simple matter for you guys?"
Yan Hao chuckled teasingly, and his expression bore a striking resemblance to Zhou Rong – they were like two fierce bears.
He straightened his clothes, casually slipped the PSP into his pants' pocket, and proceeded confidently into the ward while ignoring Tang Hao and the dozen or so soldiers surrounding him.
Si Nan sat quietly on the sickbed, and when he heard footsteps, he turned his head slightly, "Yan Hao?"
"Hey," Yan Hao greeted nonchalantly and treated Tang Hao and the soldiers like they didn't exist, "Si Xiao Nan, release the doctor. What if you strangle him to death later?"
Si Nan slightly relaxed his grip on the doctor. The pressure was just enough to prevent him from suffocating, but it didn't give him any chance to escape. He asked, "Where is Zhou Rong?"
"The captain was invited by the military commission bigwigs to have tea. Are you looking for him?"
Si Nan didn't answer, "Are you injured?"
Yan Hao replied, "No."
"What about Chuncao, Dingshi, and Big Rooster?"
"They're all at the military commission."
Si Nan nodded almost imperceptibly and fell silent for a moment.
The room was eerily quiet, and the silence was like numerous small explosions continuously resonating in everyone's eardrums.
After a while, Si Nan finally spoke, his focus shifting, "How do I get to the military commission?"
Tang Hao immediately pointed to Yan Hao and gave a low order, "Take him out."
However, the deputy camp commander had not responded yet when Yan Hao questioned, "Captain Tang, do you want to use force?"
"..." Tang Hao realized it was not a good situation.
But even with quick physical reflexes, he was half a step slower than his awareness. Tang Hao hadn't had a chance to act when there was a heavy thud behind him. Si Nan held the doctor's neck and forcefully pushed him against the head of the bed. He also removed all the needles from his own body, then turned and stepped down from the bed, landing as lightly as a feather, instantly repelling two soldiers who had rushed at him!
Tang Hao exclaimed, "Yan, what are you trying to do?!"
Yan Hao took out his PSP from his pocket and began playing.
Tang Hao, "..."
Si Nan moved like a ghost when he was in action, and he didn't even need to look with his eyes. Anyone who got within half a step of him was instantly knocked down. His senses, footsteps, and intuition were all his tools for perceiving the situation around him. The deputy camp commander cursed loudly and threw away his gun, then, barehanded, leaped onto the bed. But before he could seize Si Nan's throat from behind, he saw Si Nan forcefully lift a tall and burly Alpha soldier and, with a thunderous crash, both the deputy camp commander and the bed he had used for leverage were smashed to the ground at the same time!
Tang Hao exclaimed, "Yan, what are you trying to do?!"
Yan Hao stepped back to exit the battlefield, laughing aloud, "Captain Tang! What kind of skill is it to bully an Omega who can't see?"
