The Central Military Commission.

In the large and spacious meeting room, Romuel leaned back in his chair and glanced at the armed guards stationed at the four corners of the room. He said, "Is this how you treat a collaborator?"

Several generals remained silent, and General Zheng coldly responded, "I don't recall us discussing any collaboration, Colonel Romuel. I'd prefer to discuss the matter of your deliberate attempt to harm the precious antibody carrier under your command. When I arrived, the research institute couldn't even confirm whether the carrier's life was in danger..."

"It won't be," Romuel stated.

Several high-ranking officers raised their heads, and Romuel smiled, saying, "Cigarettes."

After a few moments of silence, General Zheng was about to react, but a female colonel signaled him with her eyes and got up to personally hand Romuel a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.

She appeared to be in her thirties, with a stern demeanor and sharp eyes. Romuel cast a glance at her well-defined figure and said, "Thank you, Miss. You're quite beautiful. What's your name?"

"Colonel Jin Hua, Hua in Zhonghua." The female colonel responded icily. "You're an attractive man too, Colonel Romuel. But given that it's the end of the world, I suggest you be honest and drop those cheap tricks."

Romuel: "..."

Colonel Jin Hua fell silent, turned around, and walked back to the long table.

Romuel seemed to find it amusing and said, "Don't be nervous, Noah Chong... the person you call Si Nan. Unless he suffers severe physical injury or decapitation, he won't be in any immediate danger. But if he wakes up, please notify me promptly. After all, he's my brother..."

"He belongs to Colonel Zhou of our country," General Zheng interjected.

Romuel took a drag from his cigarette. From the perspective of the generals seated at the head of the long table, his profile disappeared into the misty nicotine. When the smoke cleared, he calmly said, "I want him back."

"Noah Chong is my stepmother's son, the head of the White Eagle cult, and a Level 1 target of our country's intelligence department." After a pause, Romuel repeated, "We can provide you with Level 2 antibodies, but I want to take Noah Chong with me."

With a loud click, the door swung open, and Zhou Rong, in his typical laid-back style, called out, "Hey, big brother-in-law!"

Romuel immediately tightened his grip on the armrest, and his tendons bulged beneath his sleeve.

General Zheng asked, "What are you here for, Colonel Zhou?"

Zhou Rong walked to the back of the long table, dragged out a chair, and sat down. He crossed his long legs and nonchalantly pulled out a metal lighter from his pocket. He played with it for a moment and said, "Unit 118 once received a classified mission."

There was silence in the meeting room as everyone cautiously remained quiet.

"As the sixth squad assigned to carry out the mission, we encountered Si Nan in City T. We found that he had lost his memory due to unknown reasons and that his behavior matched that of our mission target, Z, who was carrying important information. Therefore, we have every reason to suspect that Si Nan is the person who originally carried the critical information and voluntarily came to our side."

General Zheng was about to speak, but Romuel cut in, "So what?"

"Doesn't matter," Zhou Rong replied earnestly. "I just want to tell you that our country has a rule: we don't use refugees who come to us voluntarily for political exchanges. Thank you."
