Chun Cao: "Is this even possible? Can gorillas grow this big?"

Zhang Yingjie: "The zombies are catching up, Rong-ge, what should we do?"

Zhou Rong: "I don't know! I've never been this unlucky on a mission before!"

Si Nan: "Don't talk. Let's run."

The zombie gorilla let out an earth-shattering roar, punching through the corner of the upper staircase. The four of them simultaneously tumbled down to the next level, facing the oncoming zombie horde.

Chun Cao and Zhang Yingjie desperately fired at the zombies, but the relentless legion of the undead had no fear. They slowly advanced step by step through the hail of bullets.

Zhou Rong turned and fired at the gorilla zombie, attempting to clear a path upward. However, in the crowded and chaotic corridor, ordinary bullets had no effect on the zombie beast, and it only enraged it further. The gorilla leaped into the air, preparing to crash down on them!

The cement steps couldn't bear the weight of the gorilla zombie's impact, and immediately shattered into countless pieces, sending all four of them flying.

Si Nan landed heavily, lifted the heavy machine gun in the darkness, and poured out a torrent of bullets onto the corridor walls!

Si Nan, Chun Cao, and Zhang Yingjie quickly entered the passage. Zhou Rong was the last one, and just as half of his body entered, he felt a sudden tug from behind. He had been grabbed by a zombie. He kicked the zombie several times, gritting his teeth, and finally managed to break free and climb in.

"Roar!"

The zombie gorilla's vision was clearly impaired in the darkness. After suddenly losing its target, it became extremely agitated. It shook its hands violently and tore apart several zombie bodies. It rammed the crumbling wall, causing even more terrifying cracks.

"The wall can't hold!" Zhou Rong shouted, "Run!"

The shelter had eleven main floors, with narrow intermediate layers and fire layers separating them. Normally, only staff would check these areas, and civilians were not allowed to enter. The space they had broken into from the corridor was one of these areas.

The four of them ran through the empty corridor, but suddenly the ground behind them shook as the entire corridor wall collapsed from the impact of the zombie gorilla.

Chun Cao ran out of breath and said, "How did we end up in King Kong's stage in the middle of a biohazard crisis?"

"It's coming after us! We need to think of a solution quickly!" Zhang Yingjie carried his backpack, making a clattering noise as he ran. He was in agony, "Rong-ge, I think you have armor-piercing bullets in your bag. Can we provide cover while you look for them?"
