"The least likely among us to find an Omega is you," Chun Cao commented.

The armored vehicle roared over the road, and the zombies on the sides of the road turned their heads upon hearing the noise. However, the dust had already settled, and they were heading towards the desolate and dilapidated city of B.

"When you say 'least likely,' did you include our temporary worker, Little Si?" Zhou Rong asked.

Zhang Yingjie, sitting in the front passenger seat and checking the road conditions, turned around and said with a smile, "Rong-ge, don't you get it? Handsome Betas are the most popular among Omegas. They talk about being considerate, gentle, and mutual respect..."

Zhou Rong pointed at Si Nan and protested, "Where does he look considerate? Where's the respect?!"

Si Nan held a Uzi submachine gun in his arms, rested his head against the swaying vehicle wall, and was in a state of dozing off, not showing any intention of speaking.

"Little Si may have a chance as well," Chun Cao offered an objective and fair evaluation. "The best options are either Yan Hao or Xiangzi. No need to say much about Yan Hao, he's handsome and popular everywhere. He naturally exudes a deep and melancholic campus prince aura, meeting all the requirements Omegas have for tenderness and respect."

Yan Hao, holding the steering wheel, politely said, "Thanks to the organization for the recognition."

"Xiangzi is more straightforward, he can use his background to impress men and dominate women. If that doesn't work, he can use money," Chun Cao said casually. "Right, Xiangzi, one day you should introduce our Rong-ge to everyone, and we can all share..."

Zhou Rong, Yan Hao, Zhang Yingjie, and Ding Shi, who had been laughing without saying a word, all changed their expressions simultaneously. Zhou Rong and the others said in unison, "Don't mention it—!"

But it was too late.

Guo Weixiang turned around and said slowly, "I knew you guys brought me for this..."

"Here he goes again," Zhou Rong said helplessly.

In the city of B, the endless streets were deserted. The road was filled with decaying corpses, and the stench was nauseating. Flies covered the rotting bodies and the sewers, buzzing when vehicles passed by.

Storefront windows on both sides were shattered, shipping containers were overturned, and debris was scattered everywhere, as if the city had experienced a devastating upheaval.

"In which way have I been the dead weight for the team? Tell me," Guo Weixiang said emotionally, full of sorrow, pointing at each person's face one by one. Si Nan, who was originally sitting beside him, had quietly moved three feet away and was now sitting beside Ding Shi in the exact same posture, arms crossed and feigning sleep, with his head at the same angle.

"When I joined the team, I knew right away why out of over a thousand applications, they picked me. There's really no secret behind it, right? Why didn't you kick me out when I failed the first assessment? It wasn't because you wanted to use me to find partners for you guys?"

"What do you think is the point of me not meeting the requirements of 118 Battalion in any aspect? Hasn't my performance been outstanding over the years? I feel like no matter how you look at it, I'm qualified to be part of 118. But why, from childhood to adulthood, does everyone only see my family background? No one ever recognizes my own abilities and value."

"Has he suffered from psychological trauma?" Chun Cao asked quietly.

The entire team shook their heads uniformly, and Zhou Rong whispered, "I think it's in his nature."
