"Mhm, yum." Riley mumbled under her breath as she bit into a protein bar. Jay scrunched his face at her, laughing at her enjoying the bar he knew she didn't actually like. "What?" She asked, letting out a low chuckle.

"I know for a fact that you're not truly enjoying this." He laughed, nudging her lightly as they sat in their covert car, waiting for their offender to get there.

"Maybe not," She tilted her head to the side, "But I'm hungry." Riley shrugged, taking another bite of it.

"You've been eating a lot more than usual lately." Jay commented, laughing when she snapped her head towards him, taking it as an insult. "I don't mean it as a bad thing, Ri."

She slapped his arm, "Still, you don't say things like that." Riley pouted, crossing her arm over her chest. She was truly mad, because she knew he was one hundred percent right. Riley had been eating a lot more lately but she was just blaming it on her PMS.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He raised his hands in defense, a light smile on both of their lips.

"What you really should be saying is : I love you my dear Riley baby, you are the love of my life..." Riley trailed off jokingly, being cut off by Jay grabbing the binoculars to look at the car approaching.

"All right," He grabbed his two way, speaking into it. "Offender's in the blue car, stepping out right now." Then he turned to Riley, a light smile on his face. "I'm gonna say all that in my vows, but for now, there's an offender waiting for us."

Riley smiled, getting out of the truck as Jay did the same. The team gave their positions over their radios, preparing to approach from different angles. Jay and Riley approached slowly, trying not to tick off the offender. But of course it didn't work.

The man took off running, Riley groaning as he ran after him. "Cut him off from the other side!" She yelled at Jay, following the offender. She heard Jay call it in so she concentrated on following the man. "Chicago PD, stop!" Riley yelled, trying to keep up with him. She tried to squeeze through a broken gate, the metal cutting her arm through the material of her flannel as she passed through. She groaned in pain, continuing her pursuit.

Riley saw the man try the jump up the fence Jay currently stood on the other side off, waiting for him. "Chicago PD, get down on your knees and put your hands up." She yelled, pointing her gun at the offender. He surprisingly did as told, most probably realizing that he didn't stand a chance anymore. A covert car drove up to them, Hailey stepping out as she asked if they were good. Jay found an opening in the gate so he opened it up, walking up to Riley and the offender to cuff him. Riley walked away, back to where she came from to meet Voight halfway.

She stopped in her tracks, doubling back a few steps. Riley sighed, grabbing her radio. "5021 Frank, roll the Crime Lab to Calumet Corridor. We have a female DOA, possible homicide. Make all the appropriate notifications, Intelligence is securing the scene." Voight walked up to her, noticing the body. She shared a look with him, her lips pulled into a thin line.
