Courtney walks over to get her things so she could leave the TARDIS to properly start her studies on Gallifrey when her dad says to her "Court please do me proud and stay in the academy much longer than I did even though I got a 54 % the second time round and whilst you are there, please don't get yourself into trouble or boy trouble as well I know that Romana and Leela are going to be there just in case if you ever need for something or talk to, I know that I can't just come and see you when I like to, I will know somehow that we meet up again in the future but both of us are in different forms Courtney".
Courtney looks at him with a smile and she made her goodbyes to the TARDIS, K9 and of course her dad then she leaves the TARDIS, the guard follows her, she hears the TARDIS whooping sound and now it has hit her that it was the last time that she saw her dad and she knows that she needs her education first but she will meet her dad some point down the line even if it is a different version of him.
