The doctor said to her "Court it is fine, I kind of knew that you are dating by the guard by the way he has been looking at you during this conversation", she looks up at her partner and she just smiles.
Courtney walks back to her office with her dad and Fred, she if he had anymore companions since she has left the TARDIS to do her studies, he says that no one has been that standard of having his daughter in the TARDIS, she sighs knowing that he must leave again so he could help other people who might need help in some form.
Court is tempted to join her dad just to travel in time and space again but her life is now on Gallifrey, she doesn't want to pack up and leave just like that, she is happy just to see her dad again after so long time after seeing him.
The doctor knows that she can't leave everything that she has earned for, he is extremely proud of Courtney how far she has come with the whole expectation hanging over her head of what he had done while he were at the academy.
