Even though the doctor didn't tell Courtney about the whole him being banished to earth and having to cope without the TARDIS until his current incarnation, he is hoping that Courtney won't do anything like he did when he was her age that's before having her around in his life and he is grateful for having Courtney otherwise he will be lonely between having companions keep entering and leaving in his lifetime

Courtney looks up at Fred and then back at her dad just wondering what he could be thinking about or what he could be planning to go next, she knows what he is going next, out back into the seeinmg if any planets by using the randomizer and seeing if the citzens need help is some form or get himself in trouble and trying to get out of the situation by distracting the guards.

Court misses the days when she used to get her dad out of trouble that was all the time somehow, she managed to get him out with the help of companion at the time, it didn't that the people of the planet just thought they put the doctor into jail, but they seen a carbon copy just walk past them but this time with ginger hair.

Whenever Courtney trying to get her dad out trouble, she tends to walk past the guards, so they were confused and tell the others to go after her, Court ducks out of the way from the guards so she could try to get her dad out of the room.

It made Courtney laugh so many times that everyone expected the doctor have a son instead of having a daughter, even the doctor shot down numerous times that he'd refer have a daughter than a son, Court knows that in the future that she will have somehow have a sister.
