Star is very proud of his feat and of course wants to share the fun! XGaster is more convinced that he only survived this long due to some twisted karma

"...huh, i thought it was hard to change your appearance like that?"
Sirius' thoughts were a mess that he wasn't able to untangle, still busy staring at the far too proud human child standing in front of them. He squinted as if that would help him decipher the scene better but sadly he was just as confused as before.
"Oh it totally is. Unless you go to a multiverse which will automatically change your Code's for you. But if you have a Creator ancestor or Code editing skills, then it can be slightly easier...and also if you are a Fresh. They tend to change reality with whatever talent they use"
Origin brightly informed, snapping some pictures while his mate cooed at Star and congratulated them on shifting without causing minds to break in the process. He happily accepted the white haired child with onyx eyes, nuzzling into their soft hair and smiling at the ink scent still clinging to them.
"Bark!"
"Yes, yes. You can be picked up too"

"And you too Brom. Everyone is rather needy today, aren't they?"
He snorted as Toby pawed at his legs with Brom looking disgruntled at the white fluffs presence but refusing to be left out. It was oddly right to have this new addition to the family, almost like they had always been here.
Jammy smiled amiably as he watched it all, quietly listening to the Voices who seemed to have a bet going on on how long it took Star to achieve this. They all seemed oddly invested in his family, not noticing how the Annoying Dog was never spoken of even in passing, as if it was a taboo subject.
"I wonder if i can do that too..."
He hummed in thought, none of his family noticing the turn his thoughts were going down and when he spotted a slither of white behind some nearby bushes his smile turned downright deranged.
"Well, perhaps the Gaster can help me. Im sure they wouldn't mind"
He sung cheerily to himself, skipping gleefully towards the edge of the lab coat and practically attaching himself to the Gaster like a parasite. The screaming was a bit uncalled for but he could wait it out, soon he would have someone to bounce all of his ideas off!

Error 404 laid on the hard ground, the jagged rock digging into his lower back ignored as was Kevin screeching in his face while continuously smashing their face into his side. Truly if anyone from before saw him they would laugh, a 'mighty Destroyer' brought to nothing more than a novelty toy/unpaid babysitter for hell's spawn.
The cackling that harmonised with screams of terror before everyone in the area screamed in synch, he decided was still very much not his business. He grunted when a weight was dropped on his chest with a tiny human giggling at him while the Code practically shrieked around them.
"Try and smooth out the Code around your hands. You are going to break reality otherwise"
His voice sounded even lifeless to himself, the words coming out deserving more alarm that he could barely muster after the last few weeks.
It was unbelievable that it had only been a few weeks and not years, so very beaten down and sighing before gently grabbing Star's hand to help 'smooth' over the Code before they shredded it by simply moving their hands. How they achieved this was the less impressive task and the fact that they hadn't collapsed the multiverse in the process was the far more impressive feat in his eyes.
"I look squishy, glitchy!"
Star giggled, the buzzing under his skin odd but it had been the same sensation he felt in his bones after eating all of his snacks. His stomach now felt rather funny, squishing his own cheeks and giggled at how much give there was.
Who knew how funny humans were!
"Of course you are. Just try not to squish your face too hard. Human skin is rather delicate even if your skin is harder then most right now"
Error 404 said placatingly in the way an overworked parent would do to a far too active child, not thinking too hard on the words and instead preventing Star from ripping apart the Code while fending off Kevin and now the two dog-shaped creatures nipping at his feet like this was all a game.
He never understood the allure of sleep before, only getting nightmares that plagued him but right now he knew he would sleep like the dead with a coma sounding rather tempting right now. He'd heard in passing how delicate humans were and how many stories of coma patients, so surely it couldn't be that hard for a monster to endure the same...right?
He missed the odd look in Star's eyes, how they were muttering about 'super fun' or how they looked to be conspiring with the two dogs.
He was too tired for this and would soon be even more exhausted.
——-
X-Gaster endured hours of chatter from the monster who he was definitely going to see in his nightmares, his mind feeling pillaged as Jammy poked every corner and mined every dark secret he had desperately kept hidden in his life until he was wrung dry.
It was a sort of torture he could admire from a distance but personally experiencing it was a different manner, almost feeling guilt for all those past less then legal experimnets he performed. It didn't help his ego that the Voices were laughing at him, mocking him and saying he fully deserved this.
He forever regretted pushing his magic to try and understand the world more, his experiments with the Void and everything else he'd theorised about. He barely survived them and at the time had felt victorious, like he was better than all reality and could do so much more!
What a fool he had been, unaware it was more of a curse with the addition of the Voices to his life only the start of his downfall from grace.
Now his latest challenge was in his face, due to some grudge from the Voices he didn't remember doing but all wished he could escape this all for even a single second and-
*FLASH*
His vision blurred, the world briefly felt like it was on fire before it all ended just as quickly, easy to mistake as your imagination if he didn't have eidetic memory and knew what he felt.
It was only confirmed when he looked down, staring in bewilderment with a shrill sound escaping his mouth without his say so.
Why was he human?! Oh god, what curse had befallen him now?!
