The Deities hidden trauma is trickling to the open while Star is getting ever close to his snacks!

——-

"WHO THE HELL MADE THOSE SHODDY DOORS?! I'VE SEEN STRONGER PILLOWS!"

No one was quite sure who asked that question as most were busy running for their lives once the thick wooden doors broke apart like mere matchsticks. It should have been impossible for such a thing to occur, the Deities magic naturally permeating the realm and keeping objects looking like new and practically indestructible.

...Well, that is what had been previously assumed considering nothing had been broken or grown old in the realm since existence started.

No one mentioned the other beings that had come up here, that had stormed the place like it was a mere local library. Something had happened rather recently, the mere mention of the title 'Traveller' still causing a few to twitch in wariness....and it seems a new name might be added to the list.

"Where are you going you delicious smelling food? Don't you want to play with me?~ I promise i'll be quick. Maybe I'll take even a small bite. I bet you won't even notice!"

HĬ̵͇̎ṣ̵̼̙͋͐̊S̸̱̭͆̏

"Well, I guess you might have a wise point, Brom. Perhaps my promise is a bit of a lie as I've never tried doing it before but i'm sure it will be fine! That's what Origin says anyway. 'If you don't succeed the first time then you aren't using enough gasoline'...I'm unsure what that exactly is but it sounds fun! We should go find that mysterious substance...after this of course"

"He's insane. Absolutely bonkers! Is this one of your's INSANITY?!"

LIFE was gasping as she tried to run as fast as she could as despite being the Deity of growth and rejuvenation, that didn't mean she was one for exercise and this was a true workout. She knew she shouldn't have chosen to go with a goat monster form, as it was a bit cumbersome and easily overheated but the white fur had just been so pretty to brush. She was considering changing to a skeleton form after this, those forms looking much lighter and grabbing the back of DEATH's cloak before they could leave her behind.

She refused to be the only one that might encounter these intruders that had invaded their home and gave a chilling glare to DEATH that promised dark things if her counterpart dared to leave her behind.

"I sure hope so! I need to check my list later to confirm. Isn't he amazing?! So much chaos in such a short period of time"

Of course not everyone was panicking, INSANITY treating the entire thing like a fun activity or even a simple school race with how little panic was currently in their body language. It wouldn't be a shock if the Deity in question had forgotten why they were even running in the first place, that their counterpart had to hold onto their hand in less of comfort and more to drag the insane being, proving that had indeed happened.

"Don't look at me like that! I didn't do anything!"

CHAOS huffed defensively when a few accusing eyes shifted towards him, a part of him wanting to admire how lively the place had become but the large part that was focused on survival pushed that thought far back into his mind before anyone could catch it and throw unwanted accusations at him.

He might enjoy chaos but he had limits, leaning into it being INSANITY's fault that this whole thing had happened in the first place.

He was unconvinced this could have occured any other way, it impossible for a mortal to just so happen to enter their space without any outside help at all. INSANITY was even knitting a jumper with a duck that just so happened to look to fit the intruder, which only heightened his suspicion that they had done this for some reason.
