Error 404 has a brief spark of hope that is immediately squished. Origin and End are not happy. While Star enjoys a nice snack break

Ship Children Multiverse
Error 404 was dragging his two deadweights with him as walked towards where Jammy was, at this point knowing he needed to bite the bullet and admit to his screw up.
Who knows, maybe he would be given a quick and easy death!
Maybe that was a bit morbid but any speck of positivity entertaining to this situation was snuffed out after the gruelling hour of trying and failing to locate the babybones. Although, he wasnt convinced it wasnt actually some sort of demon meant to torture him for all of his past sins and future ones. At this point it wouldn't be a shock considering how strange this whole family was.
He'd explored so many multiverses and never seen so much insanity concentrated in one space!
It was probably thanks to some divine miracle that that was the case, true fear entering his SOUL at the prospect of this sort of chaos being a regular occurrence. He doubted the Omniverse would survive such a thing.
He finally spotted the monster he was looking for, grimacing at the small fawning crowd nearby with quite a few being some sort of Fresh spawn and spotting an actual Fresh looking a bit too interested in the wildly muttering Paperjam monster.
*SQUAWK*
...thankfully he was taken out of any thoughts of worry or if he should even bring up whatever this was to Origin and End, reminding himself that he had far too much on his plate already. He didn't have time to care about anything else, snuffing any traces of his pesky empathy and focusing on trying to somehow survive this ordeal even if it was by the skin of his teeth.
"...Hey. Your name is Jammy, right? Would you mind going over a few of your notes with me? Particularly these symbols. They are rather fascinating"
He tried to ask as casually, vaguely and more importantly as politely as possible while Kevin was doing his best to attack his leg like a demented parrot. That was sadly something he was growing far too used to, at least better than having to drag the full grown DreamSwap with his strings to make sure they didn't wander off and get lost as well.
He stared down at the two who were currently under his care, the makeshift child leashes doing their job well, not feeling an ounce of shame that one of his strongest weapons was used for something like this.
You truly needed all the stops when dealing with this family.
He frankly couldn't imagine willingly having an offspring if even one turned out like these, his long hope to ever have a child quickly snuffed out which was rather impressive considering he had held onto that dream even after his mate died. The family truly was working some miracles...and adding new fun trauma he would have to deal with if he lived after today.
The only speck of positivity he could admit out of the garbage of a situation was that at least he had two of the three dependants with him. If he was a student doing an exam that would be seen as a success, even a passing grade!
....Even in his mind that didn't sound convincing, sighing deep in his mind when he was suddenly faced with a wildly manic grin that would look more at home on a Gaster.
Of course this family had a budding mad scientist in it, holding in a grimace when a page was thrust in his face that was full of Code and sprinkled in WingDings that he barely understood as it was practically a dead language at this point.
Even if he felt his headache from the information being spewed at him he was slowly getting a better picture at what exactly Star had done and what sort of forces he was dealing with. It would be a pain, take a few favours and likely a large chunk of his magic and so much luckbut he felt he could grab the babybones and be back before-
"There you are! We are planning to take a family picture and have finally found the perfect spot! Perhaps after a bit of lunch though and-"
"Where is Star, 404?"
A chill almost seemed to go through the air, even the less intelligent creatures in the clearing going deadly quiet as End's questions rang out like a gong, the calm before the storm and one monster was in the centre of the future disaster.
Error 404 was as stiff as a statue, twitching his head to look at the two monsters he had been trying to avoid before he fixed his grave mistake. He didn't even bother to defend himself, watching with growing wariness when Origin hand twitched towards the paint vials.
He was going to have to survive a red paint filled Creator, wasn't he?

Upper Realm
Star admired a solid clear crystal that looked like diamond at first glance and shined like one, even having the hardness of one when he tapped it against a table. Not a single flaw to it apart from a pretty green sheen in the centre that could almost be mistaken as a trick of the light.
*CRUNCH*
It was just as delicious as he imagined as well, humming at the taste that was almost like flowers he had eaten in the past and glanced at the other pretty 'crystals' on the ground surrounding him. He had finally caught himself some food but he remembered Origin's lessons on making sure to leave things to grow when he tried to do some gardening.
He was sure the same applied to SOULS or whatever he took from the yummy food he caught, FATE his favourite and so much fun to play with. He would be sure to do this again, biting into a 'crystal' that had a black centre and humming at the cold taste to it.
The small weight in his lap was ignored, leaning against the bulk of Brom as he enjoyed his snack, unsure why he hadn't done this before. The pitiful whining of the Deities came from a few rooms over, all somehow being 'tripped' by an unforeseen force and luckily all of the surviving the horrifying process.
