The ride over was filled with us laughing. All 3 of us couldn't believe we were married now. If someone looked into the carriage at that moment, they would think we had gone insane. Eventually, the laughing stopped, and we just sat in silence and held hands. Before long we reached the venue that the reception was to be held in. I got out of the carriage and offered my hand to Sarah first as she was the first to exit the carriage after me.
" How gentlemanly of you."
" Believe it or not, I can try when I want to."
I helped Sarah out of the carriage, and she stood next to me. Next was Anna.
" To think I'm keeping Master and a Princess waiting. Life is so strange."
" Even more so when you realize I'm your husband and Sarah is your sister wife."
Anna nodded to my words.
" Usually, a nobleman would have an official wife and multiple concubines."
Sarah whispered into my ears.
" Well, I don't think that'd be good. It feels a little disrespectful to Anna in my opinion."
Sarah smiled at me.
" John..."
And Anna hugged me.
" No fair!"
Sarah proceeded to hug me from behind.
" Sarah, Anna... Maybe we should save this for when we're in private."
I pointed to the way we just came to see a convoy of carriages carrying the guests of the wedding. The girls viewing the same sight also separated from me.
" I'll be holding you to that My Love."
" It's a promise John!"
Seems they both want a fun wedding night.
" Sure, I promise."
With my words, the girls grabbed my hands and pulled me into the building. We were met by staff from the castle. They brought us to a room the size of a gymnasium and led us to a heightened platform on the north side of the room. I was made to sit in the middle of a long table. Sarah sat to my right and Anna to my left. With that, we were served some food to snack on before the wedding guests arrived. While snacking on the food that was brought, I asked the girls a few questions that I was wondering.
" Did you guys know anybody that was at the wedding? You know, besides anyone who's blood related to Sarah or Asha and Sharon?"
Anna was the first to answer.
" No. My family couldn't make it and the only people I've really bonded with at the castle were Teacher Trish and our group."
I put my hand on Anna's hand.
" Me to Anna. Me to."
I nodded while speaking.
" Well aside from my family and OUR friends Asha and Sharon. I think it was just a bunch of nobles that my parents had to invite because it was the marriage of their daughter the first Princess."
" So, in conclusion. Most of our wedding guests were people we don't know?"
Anna and Sarah nodded to my words. I started to giggle.
" That's kind of sad but funny at the same time."
" Just wait until we're in their position."
Sarah's statement froze my laughter.
" No way that's happening, I mean, I'm a human right!?"
" You're also a Marquess with close enough relations to the King and Queen that they married their daughter off to you willingly. We'll be invited to weddings and get togethers as a statement about how close the family in question is to the crown."
