Chapter 84. Mrs. Mori

It's been a week since we started our travel back to Blackstone City. We've visited Bloodslide and Ashneck and we had similar experiences as when we arrived in Nulrock. In the end, I healed around 300 people. I can't say that was too bad. Julia also told me that the armor is around 30% repaired. All in all, I think I've made some good progress. My skill with Holy Heal had improved as well. I even figured out how to cast 1 spell on multiple targets now. So, I was able to clear out the entire hospital in Bloodslide in the end. It's been 2 days since then. We were currently using a different route than the one to return to BlackStone. Since we were visiting Midori Village now. Otherwise known as Anna's hometown.

" Ah! Master, look! That's the gate of my village!"

As I was thinking about the current situation. Anna pointed out the gates of her village that appeared in the distance. The gates poked out from the dense forest that surrounded us.

" Green and purple gates? I can understand the green from the forest, but where did the purple come from?"

" The purple comes from a type of C-Class monster. They're called Ralmites. They're insect type creatures that hide underground in the forest. They can actually be a problem if we don't hunt them for training every year. Their purple blood works as repellent for other types of monsters so we paint the gate and fences around the village in their blood every 3 to 4 years to protect the village."

" So, the forest basically has an infestation, and you can't fully take them all out because they hide in the ground?"

" Yes, granted I'm sure we could if we really put our minds to it, but I suppose a controlled population like we have now is the ideal situation."

" Pretty clever."

Anna smiled at my compliment. Everyone spent the rest of the time traveling commenting on the lush green forest that surrounded the village. Before long we arrived at the big gates. After one of the guards announced that King Warrick wished to pass, we were given entry after the village guards confirmed their King and Queen were actually in their presence.

" Anna!"

A woman's voice cut through the hustle and bustle of entering the village. The person called for Anna.

" Mother!"

Anna got down from her horse and ran over to the woman who called her. Now that I get a good look at her, she looks like Anna, but with light red hair and eyes. She was a Dodomeki just like Anna, in fact all of the villagers are DodoMeki now that I take a look around it. Regardless of that, she began to speak to Anna again.

" It's been so long. I've missed you so much!"

Anna and her mother hugged each other. Aqua, Sarah and I walked over to greet the woman. By the time Anna and her mother had separated, we arrived behind Anna. Her mother noticed us and seemed a bit surprised by Aqua and Sarah being here. I guess either she wasn't told about us visiting or the appearance of her Queen and the first Princess is a bit overwhelming for her. Regardless of Anna's mother's shock, Aqua began to speak to her.

" Hello Mrs. Mori! It's a pleasure to meet you! Anna has helped my family and I so much in such a short time! You have my thanks!"

Anna's mother seemed shell shocked.

" Aqua, I think we may need to give Mrs. Mori a second to calm down."

" Ah! You're right! I'm too used to dealing with all the high nobles recently!"

We waited for Anna's mother to calm down. After a few minutes, combined with Anna's comforting, Mrs. Mori began to calm down. In time she was even ready to start speaking.
