                                                                              Sarah's Point of View

Father arrived and sat in his office chair. The construction of the room was like the throne room Blackstone. The room was covered in old books. Both spell books and technical books on antient spells were all around. My father spoke as I looked around the room I could barely recognize.

" Yes Sarah, we didn't really think about cleaning in the past few weeks the timing of the summoning spell was very crucial after all. I hope you won't mind the mess I know how much you value cleanliness."

" It is fine father I understand a lot was put on the back burner to deal with my situation. Again, thank you both so much for your love!"

My parents both looked at me warmly after a few minutes of relaxing, my mother opened with the firing shot.

" So, my love what are you thinking of for our Paladin?"

" Honesty I'm at a bit of a loss on the Marquess or Duke ranking. The other 2 are pretty much mandatory for his journey moving forward. He lacks battle experience, but he has the drive to help as befitting a Paladin. I said that the three of us and Crest will handle his training for the foreseeable future."

Taking a sip of from a freshly served teacup from a palace servant, father continued.

" As for the treasury, there are cursed objects, but his holy mana should keep them at bay. Sarah would you accompany him as we attend to daily work and preparing the training regimen for him?"

" I would love to."

" Great!"

After my response my father answered in a happy tone. My mother launched the true attack now.

" Dear I believe we should strengthen his ties to us. Namely through marriage."

" Well Sandra does appear affectionate, but she's always like that."

My father answered in a joking manner and continued, despite my glare."

" I'm sure Sandra wouldn't be too against it bu--"

" I was thinking a marriage into our family. Namely Sarah."

My mother interrupted my father's idea with the heart of our plan. As she did, I couldn't help but think of our wedding day and contiued to think of it. Until my mother called my name repeatedly.

" Sarah, Sarah, SARAH!"

" HUH! Yes master!"

" Now now. I haven't trained you in a dog's age, but enough about that you have the table, tell your father what you want."

I look at my father who seems intent on hearing me out. I begin to plead my case.

" Father, I wish to marry John! during the time he healed me, I went on a journey in his mind, and I have come to the conclusion that I truly do love him. I can't bear the thought of him exiting my life. At the dinner table just now the image entered my mind, and I was devastated! When he is happy so am I. When he suffers, I feel it as if it were me. I want to be his sword, his shield. But none of that matters! because what I need in this life to be truly happy, is John by my side as my husband!"

My father looks at me then looks down and sighs, then speaks.

" I guess that means he's a Marquess then. Sarah go to bed, you have a big day tomorrow considering you're going to be given a fiancé. Also only refer to him as John inside the walls of the castle he wants to hide his identity from the Hero party. I've already placed the gag order to the castle occupants and staff. From now on outside these walls, his name is Matthew. He chose it."
