Warrick, Aqua and Trish split up with us at that point. Sarah decided to tag along with Anna and me. Before leaving, Warrick asked for us to gather all the girls to listen to a report he had about the aftermath of the fight from a few days ago. I agreed to bring everyone and off we all went. We moved to the kitchen without much of a problem. Sarah and I sat at a table while Anna went about making food for the 3 of us.

" Sarah! So, this is where you were!"

Seems food for 3 people won't be enough. Looks like it will need to be food for 6 people. Sharon alerted us to everyone being here as she greeted us. She was accompanied by Asha and Cynthia.

" Morning guys! How about you have a seat! Would you like to join us for breakfast?"

They talked amongst themselves for a moment, and they all nodded. Sarah got up to inform Anna and the girls who just arrived sat at the long table we were sitting at. Asha and Cynthia sat on the left and right side of me respectively, Sharon sat in the seat next to where Sarah sat.

" John, how are you feeling?"

Asha asked me with worry in her voice.

" I feel okay. I was a bit sore in the morning, but I cast Holy Heal on myself and I feel fine now."

" That's great!"

Asha responded to my news in a jubilant manner. Cynthia wasn't too far behind. Wait!

" Cynthia, why are you crying!?"

" Because I was so worried."

Looking at her crying figure I couldn't help but apologize and pat her head.

" Cynthia I'm sorry to put you through that. But it's okay. I'm not going anywhere I promise."

She stopped crying at my words. I tried to remove my hand, but she quickly snatched my hand and began to speak while looking at me with teary eyes.

" Don't stop. Please..."

I couldn't say no so I continued to stroke her head.

" Must be nice..."

I heard Asha say something under her breath.

" Come again?"

I turned to her and asked her what she said.

" Oh, it's nothing forget about it!"

Asha looked away from me. She reminds me of Laura back in preschool. How did I make her mood better back then? Oh yeah! that's how! But wait, Asha is a noble lady. Also, she isn't 4 years old. Wait her mana is starting to swirl weirdly. She's staring at Cynthia for some reason. Screw it. I'll give it a shot. I placed my hand on her soft strawberry blonde hair and began to stroke her head.

" !!!"

" Do you dislike it?"

Asha didn't speak. She didn't say yes or no. Her mana began to dissipate. I felt a little strange about this situation, so I began to raise my hand.

" Don't you dare stop!"

I was shocked to hear how low Asha's voice got while she held my hand in place. She looked at me with a bit of an irritated look like she was ready to attack me.

" Okay."

I began to pat her head again. Her irritation faded away and was replaced with the look of a cat when it's enjoying being pet. Seems this technique of mine really is the greatest.

" I knew I should've taken one of those seats."

I heard Sharon from across the table.

" Please, Sharon... I only have 2 hands."
