Owl to Nest
Gold and Green Owl's Note To Nest
Watching the mice from the branch since they've arrived to their new den. Mice have begun living in their new environment and have begun to ingratiate themselves to the original inhabitants of the nest. The white mouse has shown a hands-on approach to his leading. He seems to be the type to launch himself at any appearance of any kind of cat or snake. This has been confirmed as we sent a black eel for a welcoming present. The white mouse led his companions into the fray headfirst. His purple and green mice keep us at bay from observing more.
The inhabitants have grown closer to the mice over the weeks. These creatures always did value power and action. And the observation subjects have these in spades. A hiccup had appeared before the first week was over. A group of stray mice came in search of the white mouse. They've migrated into the den quite quickly. They have a variety of skills. Some dangerous ones have positioned themselves closely to the white mouse. It appears that they were chosen from their fellow migraters in order to protect their chosen leader. Planning has begun on how to properly deal with them if any of them look up at the branches we owls sit on.
With the influx of mice, food has become an issue. Since the den is desolate and barren, surrounded by wasteland and dangers. The mouse has taken the task for himself to gather food. In a way, its admirable. He seems to be trying to figure something out about his abilities during these hunting sessions. His growth is insane, but his battles, they show he's an amateur at his core. The purple and green mice are more concerning. They've shown abilities that I would consider... Unnatural. The green one is still learning to control herself. The purple one would be a problem for even I. I've taken to studying her as best I can for when we clash blades. My observing of the purple mouse has taken more of my time away from the white mouse. Seeing as the Purple is more of a threat, I figure this shouldn't be a major issue. Brother Owl is watching the white mouse now.
Brother Owl's Note To Nest
I've taken over watching the white mouse as Gold and Green has found purple to be the biggest threat. New faces have become stalwart companions to white mouse. In particular is a red one from the original inhabitants of the den. This strange loyalty has somehow grown between them. Others are not far behind. It appears that our friends among the creatures have managed to stick a mole close to the white mouse however.
His hunting has breathed new life into his skills. It seems that whatever he was searching for in the beginning, has now been nearly found. Perhaps asking for understanding of his thoughts could be gleamed from the mole? Sending a request to our friend to have the mole write down what he knows may lead to a better understanding of the situation.
Our parliament have noticed a group of worms approaching the eastern edge of the den. They were attacked by rodents. They've remained camped out ever since. The white mouse has skill as a farmer. He's made a field grow magically out of thin air in only a few weeks. Perhaps capturing him and learning his secrets could be good for our nest? These thoughts are for another time I admit. Likelihood of the mice meeting the worms soon is growing by the minute. Requesting orders for if they do.
Nest to Parliament
Your news brings a smile to my face. I await these reports like an owl for the night. Green and Gold can continue doing as she sees fit. I will contact our friends to see what they know. I would've waited to send this when I had received words from our friends. However, The seriousness of the mice and worms meeting cannot be understated. From our friendly flames I gather that the worms are skilled in their arts and crafts while wiggling in the dirt. The white mouse must have dreams of making his den prosper. Eliminate the worms when you can. Perhaps bring more of those rodents or any other nasty creature that lives in that hellhole to weaken them. When you feel the time is right, attack. If they do meet and you feel they are getting too close to each other for your liking, do not hesitate to attack and slaughter as you please.
If you can kill the white mouse I will reward you appropriately. I'll be sending words to our Elder Owl that his time will be coming. Attached to this note will be a declaration of war. If you do attack, disguise yourselves as our dirty halves. I know, it will disgust you to do so. But we must for our plans to come to fruition. Remember to keep the purple mouse alive. The filthy rodent is needed for the deal we've struck with our temporary " Friends". Do not hesitate for anyone else. After the battle, send the declaration to King Rat.
After making sure the letter has reached him, report back in person to me. By that time, we shall be near ready to begin our assault. This job was a hard one. You all have done well. Once you return you will be rewarded handsomely. Remember to protect each other. Don't allow weakness in front of your enemy. The opportunity for this all to work is short. These are dangerous vile creatures we are dealing with, be safe always. Make your way back to us. That is my strongest command I order you to adhere to it.
Green and Gold Owl's Reaction
"They've met up. He's creating good will. This doesn't seem to be good! Brother! Are you ready for this!?"
" Let's strike hard and true! Sister! Prepare the explosives! We need to create as much chaos as possible!"
And with that we headed off. With our true selves hidden in brown coloring, we began to attack those who just recently couldn't stand. It felt wrong, but I must do my duty.
