The rest of the banquet was a warm affair, people who had become friends began the process of saying goodbye as the people leaving began to make peace with the fact they were leaving tomorrow. The banquet ended a little early so everyone could have a good night's rest in preparation for the departure tomorrow.

" That was a nice party. We should do that more often."

Anna spoke cheerfully as I closed the door to our house. Sarah, Anna and I had just entered our home, I closed the door as I was the last one to enter the house.

" It was. I enjoyed the night. But I'd like to know at what point pranking me was the highlight of the night for you 2?"

" Are you angry?"

Sarah asked somewhat nervously. I could see by her eyes that she knew I wasn't actually angry with her or Anna.

" No. Just surprised. I know I needed a secretary at some point. I just didn't think you both would collude with Emily to make her my secretary. When was the plan hatched?"

Sarah shrugged her shoulders and began to explain how this little prank came to be.

" Well, after the incident with the Wyvern, while you were busy working on the ice cream, Emily and Ruby came to us. At first I thought it was just a simple lunch between friends, but then Emily explained about how she wanted to stay in Paradise with us."

" She wanted to stay just by herself? Why would she want to stay in a place without any Humans?"

At my words, Sarah and Anna looked at me confused. Why... Oh!

" I mean Promethian Humans. Besides our species, I doubt Emily and I have much in common. Even back in my world, I didn't even have a job. I was heading to higher education in a few months.... Well, that was before Warrick and Aqua brought me here."

" Perhaps we will need to inform Emily about that moving forward."

Sarah looked at Anna and she nodded to Sarah's words. Anna looked back at me and seemed a little pensive. I waited for her to tell me what was bothering her. Anna, seeing me looking at her. Worked up the courage to ask me a question.

" Do you... Ever regret not being able to go back home?"

I was surprised by her question. I smiled at my wives and began to respond.

" My home is wherever you 2 are."

To my words, Anna began to relax. Sarah just wore an expression that said " Of course!" I continued with my honest feelings about not being able to go back to my old world.

" Having said that, I do regret a few things. Not being able to introduce you both to my foster parents is 1 thing I regret. A 2nd is not being able to visit my parent's graves anymore. Besides that, there's nothing really that important I miss."

As I spoke honestly, Sarah and Anna listened intently to my words. Once I finished, Anna posed a question to me.

" Have you ever tried asking Angela about them?"

" No, I haven't."

" Well, why not?"

Sarah, shocked by my answer, needed to know why.

" I feel like it would be a bit wrong to ask her now. I mean, I'm sure I will at some point, but I just started speaking to Angela for longer than a few minutes at a time. Once we're more comfortable with each other... Granted Angela would argue we're the closest any 2 people can be. But I feel uncomfortable just to automatically ask Angela for favors when in my view, I just met her."
