I know I'm not a normal girl.

I'm bloodthirsty.

I fantasize about killing a person fifty diffrent ways.

That's not normal.

So when Katniss gets an eleven my blood boils. I already know she's dying first.

"How did she get an eleven?!" Cato shouts. I have never heard him raise his voice that loud. His tone makes me jump.

"She must have done something a lot more impressive than what you guys did." Enobaria explained calmly.

"What could someone from District Twelve do? What?" I demand.

"I'm not sure." Enobaria replies.

Cato throws the cup he was holding on the ground. It shatters into a million peices, just like my hope of survival. I always knew chances were slim, but at least they were there.

I watch as Cato stomps off to his room.

"I'll be back." I say. I stand up and go to what Maia calls the sleeping quarters.

I knock on Cato's door.

"What?" He says.

"Can I come in?" I ask.

"No." He says through the door.

I open the door and see him lying down on his bed, staring at the ceiling. I go and lie down next to him. I turn over and face him.

"What's wrong?" I ask pointlessly.

"Fuck twelve." He says.

"Yeah." I agree.

We lie down in silence for a few minutes.

"I just wanna do something fun." He says.

"Same." I sigh. Then a really good idea pops in my head. "What if we snuck out?"

He looks at me. "What? Clove are you insane?"

"No actually. What if?" I practically beg. I know we will probably get caught. But it will be fun. Right?

"Fine let's do it." He gives in.

"Well that was easy." I joke. "Let's sneak out tonight."

"Okay."

It's around midnight when I decide it's safe. I quietly open my door. I quietly slip into Cato's room. I shake him hard.

"Wake up." I whisper.

"Good morning." He yawns.

"Come on, we have to go now if you don't want to get caught."

"Alright, lets go." He says.

I grab a random shirt that was lying on the floor and toss it to him. "Put on a shirt." I roll my eyes.

We headed to the elevator and I press the ground level button. I was crossing my fingers that no Peacekeepers were there. When the doors opened we see some and have to run to the side before they look over.

I lifted my gaze and see a red exit sign. I grip Cato's arm and silently go to the door. I open it and we step outside. I quietly shut it.

I look at him, "We did it." I smile.

"Let's get out of here." He suggests.

I grab his hand, "Come on!"

We ran through streets until we reach a fancy dress shop.
