"Please, have a seat." Mr. William Crawford Cansino let out a subtle chuckle when he noticed how dazed I was by his sight and luminous presence. The impeccably tailored luxurious clothes he was wearing and his polished appearance contributed to his self-assurance, readiness for business and professionalism— conveying a sense of status, authority and success.
He motioned his hand, gesturing for me to sit down with a hankering smile across his pink lips. His light brown eyes were gleaming, flickering with bliss and delight as he batted his eyelids in a slow manner.
His aura gives off dominance and influence. His bearing was truly unlike, drawing a parallel between the wealthy people I know.
I didn't realize that our handshake was already over so I was completely disconnected in reality and immediately heeded what he enunciated. It was so surreal to see him up this close once more.
The great Mr. William Crawford Cansino.
"Good evening, Mr. Cansino." I politely greeted him, slightly bowing my head with utmost admiration while beaming excitedly. We were both looking into each other's eyes, he was mulling over the same emotion yielding through his light brown orbs.
"Good evening too... Cian... Reese." He greeted back casually yet with a sense of connection, and the timbre of his voice was baritone, deep and authoritative yet controlled that despite his tough exterior and rough facial features, he is still an emotional human being– it will just take a lot of digging and trust to open him up to his softer side.
My heart thumped continuously with pure joy. Nakakaloka!
He then raised his left hand to hail a waitperson who immediately gave attention to Mr. Cansino. Gosh? That easy? The fact that there were a lot of customers here tonight but he was instantly complied with by the waiters.
"Good evening, Sir Cansino." The male waitperson greeted us politely with a friendly smile curving on his lips, bowing his head a bit as he handed us the menu.
"Good evening, Mr. Cansino. It was so nice to see you again. How are—" Bati naman nung waitress na may dalang trolley na sobrang sosyal ang design tapos may mamahaling bote ng red wine at mga wine glass na naka-taob. Inilapag niya ang wine glass sa lamesa, sa tapat ni Mr. Cansino na tinititigan ako na parang kinikilatis, kinikilala at minumukhaan niya ang bawat anggulo ng mukha ko.
"A simple greeting will suffice, Mica." He uttered with an indication of sassiness with the way he talked, but in a very manly way.
Mahinang tumikhim 'yung waitress at tinungo ang ulo. "Yes, of course. My apologies."
A brief emotion of sentimentality flashed into his light brown eyes before leaning his wide back in his seat.
The waitress quietly poured the expensive red wine into his wine glass, the waitress then gave me a friendly and welcoming smile plastered on her lips when she caught me watching over her movements.
"Your usual dinner, Sir Cansino?"
"No, hand us the menu."
My cheeks flushed and gave her a shy smile.
Shucks...
"Wine, Miss?" She offered enthusiastically.
