"Report to you stations immediately. This is not a drill. We are under attack. We are under attack."

The voice echoed through the hydra compound.

The ground trembled beneath me. Sirens blared. Screams followed.

I pressed closer to the bars of my cell, listening- trying to catch pieces of conversation.

"Who gave the order to attack?" Strucker's voice cut through the chaos, sharp and furious.

"Strucker, sir- it's the Avengers." One of the guards stammered.
"They landed in the far woods, the perimeter guards panicked." He said

"Can we hold them?" Stucker asked

The man hesitated.
"They're the Avengers..." He said

Struckers eyes hardened.
"Deploy the rest of the tanks. Concentrate the fire on the weak ones. A hit can make them close ranks." He said

Then, louder:
"We will not yield! The Americans sent their circus freaks to test us. We will send them back, in bags. No surrender!" He yells

"No surrender!" The soldiers echoed.

Then, I searched minds. Trying to find Wanda or Pietro.

"Liz?"

The voice wasn't loud- it was in my mind.
Pietro.

"I know you're listening. You feel up to it?" He asked

"Up to what exactly?" I ask

"Getting out of here. Fighting them" he said

I smiled faintly.
"As long as we get out of here? yeah" I said

"Good" he said

The door of my cell swings open before I could blink. Then I was gone- swept up in a flash of silver and wind.

"Maybe a warning next time, Pietro!" I hissed as he set me down.

He held up his hands in mock surrender, smirking.

"Alright, let's go" he said

"Stick with me, Liz" Wanda said

"You know I can handle myself- I'm hundred and six years old" I said

"Being a hundred and six isn't an excuse" she laughed.

"Ah, whatever" I mutter
