Peters call came not too long later.
"Elizabeth. I need you to meet me at Mays work" he said, tone serious.

"Okay- Why?" I asked, already grabbing my jacket.

"One of the guys is there" he said

"On my way" I said.

MJ looked up from her phone.
"Where are you going?" She asked.

"Peter might've found another one" I said before rushing out the door.

When I got there, Peter and I pushed through the shelter doors in a hurry.

"May? Where's May?" Peter asked one of the workers.

They pointed down the hall, and both of us muttered a 'thank you', before sprinting that way.

We barged in to find May and a man sitting across from each other at the table.

"Hey, here they are. Norman this is my nephew and his girlfriend." May said, smiling at us.

"Norman Osborn? I thought that you were-"
Peter started, then stopped.

"I saw Spider-Man and his ally in an ad for this place. And I thought he could help me. But you're not him." Norman said.

"Wait- want Spider-Man's help?" Peter asked

"He just wandered in." May said softly.

"I didn't know where else to go. Someone's living in my house. Oscorp doesn't exist. My son.... Sometimes I'm not myself. I'm-someone else. And every time he's in control I can't remember. And now I'm here-In this place. In this city. I don't know what's going on with me. And I know it doesn't make sense." He said, voice shaking.

May reached out, her turn gentle.
"It's okay" she said

Then pulled Peter and I aside.
"He's lost. And so don't mean just in the cosmos. I mean in his mind. Are they all like this?" She asked.

"Yeah" we said in unison.

"Yeah?" She said

"Mentally and physically" I added quietly.

"Oh well he needs help and maybe they all do." May said.

"Wait- you don't mean..? No, May, this isn't my problem." Peter said

"Peter- not your problem?" She echoed.

"May their chance of getting help is way better back where they came from. Sending them home that's the best thing that we can do for them." Peter argued.

"For them? Or for yourself? Look around you. This is what we do. We help people." May said.

Peter hesitated, his jaw tightening.
"This is what's best for them. Trust me." He said

When we escorted Norman outside, he turned to May.
"Thanks May. Hope to see you again." He said

"Hey." May said stopping us before we got in the car.
"He trusts you guys. So do I" she said
