"Governments around the world launch investigations into the murderers known as Spider-Man and sapphire- aka Peter Parker and Elizabeth Pandora" J. Jonah Jameson's voice rattled from every screen and radio across the city.
"Who for years, have been terrorizing the decent citizens of New York. Well now this city and the world see them for what they truly are."
I sit frozen, staring at the screen, at the swarm of talking heads spinning lies faster than I can breathe.
"New details from last week's devastating attack in London have emerged. For more, we go now to Joint Intelligence headquarters." A woman reporter said.
My stomach knots. Every word feels like a blade.
"Authorities, just a short while ago confirmed that the deadly drones used in the London attack were designed by Stark Industries."
The room goes quiet. May, Peter, and I just sit there on the couch, trying to make sense of the world turning upside down. Then- Bang. Bang. Bang.
"Federal agents! Open up!"
May shoots up instantly. "Federal agents? You two stay here!" She said
She opens the door, and several men in tactical gear flood the apartment. The one in front flashes a badge.
"Department of Damage Control. We have a warrant for the arrest of Peter Parker and Elizabeth Pandora" he said
May crossed her arms. "You know the Fourth Amendment?" She asked.
"Sure." The agent says.
"Unreasonable search and seizure?" May asked.
He just smiled. "Get in here guys. Let's go." He said
The guards push through. And that's how it starts- the handcuffs, the collar around my neck to suppress my powers, the flashing lights of dozens of cameras waiting outside.
They drag me down a hallway, MJ, Ned, and May just a few steps behind. Through the glass room, I catch sight of Peter sitting at a table, alone, his face pale under the fluorescent lights.
"Peter!" I yell, jerking against the guards grip.
"Peter, hey!" MJ and Ned shout.
"Sir, they didn't do anything!" Peter says to one of the agents, his voice cracking.
May and I shout in unison. "Don't say anything without a lawyer!" We said.
"You know your story is very unbelievable, right miss Pandora?" The agent asks, sliding a file toward me.
"Trust me, I know. But it's the truth. I could show you- if you'd take this thing off my neck" I t said
He smirks. "You should lawyer up, Miss Pandora. You gotta a lot of people against you" he said
