While we were waiting to land, I decided to talk to strange. He stood a little ways off, quiet but unreadable as always.

"Um...Doctor strange?" I said, walking up to him.

"Yes?" His voice was calm, detached.

"I just- never mind" I almost backed out, but he tilted his head like he already knew what I was thinking.

"You want to know about what he said. Am I right?  He asked, and I froze mid-step.

"Yeah. That's exactly what I wanted to ask" I said quietly.

"You're not going to like it" he said

"Please" I said, bracing myself.

"You're not from this world, Elizabeth." He said, voice steady but heavy.
"You came from a planet that no longer exists. Your planet was at war when your parents sent away- hoping you'd survive. Your last name, pandora, it means 'all-gifted' from where you came from. And thats not a coincidence." He said

I swallowed hard, shaking my head.
"No, no, that's not true. I can't be-" I start

"Elizabeth, your whole life has already been prophesied." He said

I paused.
"So my brother, my parents...they weren't my blood?" I asked.

He nodded once.
"That's correct" he said

I tried to breathe evenly, but it felt like the air had been ripped out of the room. My voice came out small.
"I-uh...thank you, strange." I said

He only nodded, eyes soft for a second before Peter's voice broke through.

"Hey, what's going on?" Peter asked

"I think we're here." Strange said.

"I don't think this rig has a self-park function." Tony muttered, already fiddling with controls.
"Get your hand into this steering gimbal. Close those around it. You understand?" He told Peter.

"Yep, got it, got it, got it." Peter said.

"This was meant for one big guy, so we gotta move at the same time." Tony said.

"Okay. Okay. Ready." Peter nodded.

"We might, uh, wanna turn." Peter mumbled.

"Turn! Turn! Turn!" Tony shouted.

I threw my hands out, my powers flaring as I steadied everyone. The ship hit the ground hard, scraping across the barren surface of a planet that looked long dead.

Tony and strange started talking, but my focus drifted- voices echoing faintly in the back of my mind.

"Not yet"
"Just be patient"
"I want to know as badly as you do, just wait"

Someone else was here.

Peter met my eyes- he felt it too.

"Let me just say, if aliens wind up implanting eggs in my chest or something... And I end up eating one of you, I'm sorry." Peter said
