You and your parents settled into your new home in Tokyo. It took you a few days to unpack everything.

And in a few more days, you'd be starting your first day of high school at Nekoma High School.

Your dad looked over at you, noticing how quiet you've been since leaving Miyagi. "Are you alright, Y/n?"

You look over at him, a blank expression on your face. "Just trying to adjust to the fact that I won't be seeing Kei and Tadashi every day."

He sighed, understanding. "I understand. Just try to have fun in high school. Don't be mopey and try making friends. Ok?"

"I guess I could try."

"That's my girl." He smiled, happy to see you be so willing to do something you'd never do otherwise.

You shrug, continuing to unpack a few things, decorating the house in the process. You look at the pictures you kept unpacking.

They were pictures of your childhood. You looked at the pictures that contained you with Kei and Yamaguchi, starting from when you three were children. They continued all the way to the present day.

You smiled while looking through the pictures. You remembered each moment they captured. They were happy memories.

And now, it would be hard for you to continue making those kinds of memories with the two boys.

You sigh. The move was affecting you more than you thought it would. You felt sad to be so far away from the people you grew up with, the people that ended up being your favorite people in the whole world.

You already missed your cousin and childhood best friend.

"I changed my mind. I don't wanna go to school."

"Y/n!" Your parents exclaimed in unison.

You turn away, trying to rush to your room to get out of the Nekoma uniform. "I look ridiculous. I can't go anywhere. I won't know anyone, I should just stay at home."

Your mother chuckled. "Come on, now. You're fine. The best way to get rid of these nerves is to go to school and try your best to make friends. You'll be fine, sweetie."

You shake your head, looking at your parents. "No way. The skirt is too short, Kei won't be there. I absolutely can't go to Nekoma. Move me back to Miyagi."

Your father shook his head. "Can't do that. You'll be fine. Just go to school and be yourself."

"You complain when I act like myself."

"Then be a nicer, friendlier version of yourself."

You frown, borderline pouting. "There's no way I can go to Nekoma. I'm gonna be all alone. You two know I'm not good at making friends on my own."

Your mother kept a smile on her face. "This is your chance to learn to do things on your own. You'll do fine. Now, get going before you're late to school."

You sigh, knowing there was no arguing with your parents any further. "Alright. I'll be going now. I'll see you two after school."

"See you, Y/n." They spoke in unison.

You grab your school bag and head to the front door. You open the door, taking a deep breath in and stepping out of the house. You only released your breath after closing the door and turning to the path you'd be using to walk to and from school.

You felt nervous, almost scared. You'd be going to a school, not knowing anyone there, and would be all alone. You'd have to really try hard to make friends if you don't want to end up as a loner at school.

And then the idea popped into your head. A smile spread across your face.

"Why don't I just sign up to be the manager for the boys' volleyball club? That way, I'll be making friends while also having things to do to keep me busy, so I'm not focused on being so far away from Kei and Tadashi."

You smile wider as this thought filled your head. You were determined to do this.

And it was all you could think about as you walk to school.

You started becoming excited for your first day at school.

Prior to arriving on the campus, you quickly sent your parents a text to let them know of your manager idea. They were thrilled and agreed to it immediately.

You skipped slightly while arriving on the school's campus. Your first day at a school in a different prefecture had just begun.

Little did you know, you had already caught the attention of a certain group of boys. One of them smirked, seeing your skipping form.

"Looks like there's gonna be some interesting first years. Maybe we'll finally get ourselves a manager."
