You wake up for morning practice, happy to be going back to your normal routine. The conversations you and Kiyoko had over the weekend repeated in your head as you got ready to see your team.

You were blushing, and the color was not going away. You felt a little nervous to be seeing Kenma once more, knowing you have feelings for the quiet setter.

You walk your normal route to school, and, like always, you run into Kenma and Kuroo right outside the gates.

You smile to the two boys. "Good morning, Kenma-senpai, Kuroo."

Kuroo greets you with a smile. "Good morning, L/n."

Kenma continues looking down at his handheld gaming console. "Morning." He mutters, just loud enough for you to hear.

Your smile turns into a slight frown, disappointment spreading through your body at the fact that Kenma didn't look at you. But you tried not to let it bother you as you walked to the gym with the two older boys. The two boys walked off to change, leaving you alone to sit on the bench.

The other members of the team walk in, immediately spotting you and walking over. "We're really sorry about this weekend, L/n!"

You look up at the boys. "It's fine. I'm not upset about it anymore. Just go get changed so practice can start."

The boys nod and leave to change. You sit by yourself, waiting for practice to begin.

The whole team came back into the gym together, changed and ready to start practice. You watch their every move. That's when you noticed something different: Kenma didn't look at you during practice. Not even once.

You felt a little sad. But you also felt it was better that he focused on practice. And it seemed like the rest of the team was happy with how their setter was acting during morning practice. Everyone but Kenma had smiles on their faces. Even you smiled, happy that things were going well for the team.

When practice had ended, and the boys had gone to get changed, you grabbed your things and slowly walked out of the gym.

"L/n!"

You turn, seeing the entire team heading your way, noticing Kenma was once again playing on his psp. "Did you guys need something?"

Kuroo shakes his head. "Nah. We just saw you and figured we could all walk together."

Yaku smiled at you. "What did you do this weekend?"

"Hung out with my cousin and his team. I even had a sleepover with their manager."

"Sounds like you had fun, while we had to deal with our own drama." Kuroo attempted to joke.

You frown. "I'm aware. Akaashi had to call to inform me. One of you should've told me if something happened. Next time someone outside the team has to tell me, I'm beating your asses."

Kuroo chuckled nervously. "I'll try to make sure that doesn't happen again."

Yaku leaned closer to you. "Was that all that happened?"

You remembered a certain moment from when you were in Miyagi. "I think I was confessed to by one of my cousin's teammates."

Kenma tensed, trying to see if he heard right. "What?"

"Yeah, he said he really liked me then panicked and told me to forget it. It was weird, and I felt bad cuz there's no way I'd like him back in that way."

Kenma relaxed, focusing back on his game.

Kuroo laughed. "Man, I feel bad for that guy!"

You look at the members of the team. "But it's funny. Everyone on my cousin's team calls me by first name, and you guys and Akaashi call me by last name. Even Bokuto calls me by first name."

Yaku hummed. "Do you want us to call you by your first name?"

"Yeah. I think it's easier to deal with people calling me Y/n, since I'm more used to it than going by my last name."

Kuroo grinned. "Alright, Y/n. We can do that from now on."

You smile slightly at the team. "Thanks. We're all friends, so I feel like this should've happened sooner."

Yaku just looked at you, reading the expression on your face. "I guess that makes sense, Y/n."

"Now you're all just trying to find a way to fit in using my name whenever you speak to me."

Yamamoto laughed. "It's not everyday that a pretty girl allows us to call her by first name, Y/n."

You frown. "Ok, you can quit it now before I change my mind."

Everyone except for you and Kenma laughed.

Kenma snuck a quick peek at you before quickly returning to his game.

But Kuroo noticed it, a smirk spreading on his face.
