Kenma imagined your eyes, right in front of him. He imagined the way your lips felt against his.

He groans in bed, wishing you could've been there with him. But he knew you weren't even in the prefecture. The whole team knew.

Every single one of the guys on the Nekoma boys' volleyball club knew that you used weekends to go visit your cousin back in Miyagi. But this fact upset Kenma.

He wanted you there with him, with nothing to stop you two from having that attraction pull you two together. No one would be there to stop you two from kissing while gazing into each other's eyes.

He was craving it. Kenma desperately wanted to kiss you. He didn't know why, all he knew was that he just really wanted to.

Meanwhile, you were laying in bed in Miyagi. You sighed, rolling over.

Your thoughts were taken over by Kenma's golden orbs. Your face began heating up when you remembered the kisses between you and the quiet setter. Your heart pounded against your ribcage, your breathing hitched.

You couldn't figure out why he was on your mind, you only knew that those thoughts weren't leaving your head anytime soon. With that thought in mind, you got out of your bed and walked over to your cousin's room. You knock on the door and patiently wait for his response.

You hear thumping, then the tall blond opens the door and looks at you with a somewhat annoyed expression.

"Kei."

"What could you possibly need in the middle of the night, Y/n?"

"It's important."

"What could be so important at 1 in the morning?"

"I need your help."

Tsukishima sighs, leaving his room and closing the door. "Let's go to the living room, Yamaguchi's asleep on the floor in my room."

You nod, walking with the boy to the living room where you both take a seat on the couch. "Thanks for not turning me away."

"Just start telling me what's going on."

"I can't sleep."

An irritated look made its way onto his face. "You wake me up, bring me out here, just because you can't sleep?"

"Before you get mad - "

"A bit late for that."

"It's about the senpai I kissed."

He relaxes a bit, settling himself further onto the couch. "What about him?"

You hesitate, feeling embarrassed. "Well... instead of being able to sleep, my mind keeps wandering back to his eyes and the times we've kissed. I can't get it out of my head and now I can't sleep."

He blinks, taking in the information. "Have you considered, that maybe, just maybe, you have a crush on this guy?"

"Is that really the only explanation?"

"The only one I can come up with."

You look down. "I see."

"Realization hitting you hard?"

You shrug. "I just don't know. I barely know a thing about Kenma-senpai and to think I might have a crush on him. It's kinda hard to imagine."

Tsukishima shrugs. "I guess it could happen. Might seem unexpected, but it seems to be the only explanation for how you keep thinking and feeling whenever you even just think about him. And based on hat you've told me about the times you two looked into each other's eyes, the only conclusion I can come up with is that you two like each other."

"I doubt he likes me. I've heard from other members of the team that Kenma isn't like that."

"Then explain why he keeps kissing you two when you make eye contact with him."

"As I've told you, there's just some force pulling us together."

"That force is feelings."

You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest. "You don't believe me."

He sighs. "I do, but it's hard to explain your situation without involving the possibility of there being feelings involved from at least one of you."

"You really think that's the only thing it could be?"

"Unfortunately, it's all that I can come up with. I wish I could help you with this more, but I just don't know how. Let's just go to bed and figure this out when we've had plenty of rest."

You nod, standing up with him. "I'll try to sleep."

He gives you a small smile. "Good. I'll see you in the morning."

You watch as your cousin makes his way to his room, quietly slipping inside and closing his door. You sigh, opening the door to your own room and walking inside. You close the door behind you and walk to your bed, laying down.

Instead of being able to sleep all night, you only had thoughts of Kenma in your head.
