Kuroo looked at the shorter boy beside him, somewhat concerned with the behavior he recently started showing. "Is everything alright, Kenma?"

"I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

"You've been acting differently since you first met L/n. I'm getting kind of worried with how agitated you seemed at practice. Are you sure there's nothing bothering you."

Kenma thought about your beautiful, mesmerizing e/c orbs. But he didn't want to admit what had changed with him, knowing Kuroo would only tease him for it. "It's fine. She's just... different."

"Do you have a crush on her?"

Kenma frowned, furrowing his brows. "I barely just met her. I don't know her at all. Why would you think that?"

Kuroo smirked. "You called her different and keep staring into her eyes. You've never acted that way before. I was just thinking that maybe you finally developed a crush. I guess I was wrong?"

"You're wrong. When have you ever known me to be like that?"

"You've never been like that. Which is why I'm interested that this girl seems to have gained your attention. And you seemed to become agitated when I keep pulling you away from her. So, tell me, what's the deal with that?"

Kenma shrugged. "I don't understand it myself. Her eyes are pretty and I feel like I always get lost in them."

This gained Kuroo's full attention. "Oh really? I think that means you've got a crush, Kenma."

"I do not."

"You do too."

"Stop trying to constantly make me seem like everyone else. I have no interest in people or relationships."

"And yet this girl's eyes mesmerize you?"

Kenma froze, knowing how he wanted Kuroo to stop calling his name whenever he stared into your eyes. But more importantly, he wanted his friend to stop talking about this. "That's enough of this, Kuro. I don't want to talk about it anymore. It's starting to get on my nerves."

Kuroo dropped it, letting it be. But this whole situation put a grin on the tall boy's face. He wanted to know more about what his friend was thinking and feeling when it came to you. And he was determined to find out what it was, even if he had to do exactly what Kenma does, in order to figure it out.

Kenma walked into his house, away from his childhood friend. He sighed as he stepped into his room, glancing at his pc and gaming console before settling onto his bed. He felt like his head was a mess. Instead of playing video games like he normally would, all he could think about was your eyes and the way he felt attracted to you every time he looked into your eyes.

Your e/c orbs made his heart flutter, causing him to think about all the possibilities of what might happen if no one were to bother him when he's gazing deeply into your eyes. He smiled to himself, feeling more satisfied that he could imagine these possibilities.

He laid down, grabbing a pillow and holding it. "L/n Y/n. Your eyes are so pretty. Why do I get lost in them every time we make eye contact? What's so special about you to make me like this?"

He tossed and turned all night, unable to sleep without thinking about your eyes and the way they pulled him towards you. He tried playing video games in the middle of the night. But your eyes were all he could focus on. Just the thought of being able to look into your eyes made him feel restless.

He wanted to know what would happen. He had to know.

It was eating at him all night. Never before had he experienced such a sleepless night, especially not one in which he didn't even play video games. He couldn't focus on anything.

He desperately wanted to get lost into your e/c orbs and let whatever force pulled him to you take over his body. He thought that if that would be how he has his first kiss, he'd be excited by it.

He just wanted to make eye contact with you once more, hopefully it would be uninterrupted. He wanted to go further with you.

But these thoughts, that feeling.... None of it made sense to Kenma. He couldn't understand why he thought those things, why he felt the way he did.

It was almost like he as under a spell.

And Kenma liked it.

Kozume Kenma wanted to be under the spell your eyes cast on him.
