"I feel like the guys don't trust me."

Akaashi's voice came in through the phone's speaker. "What makes you say that?"

"Someone raised their voice tonight in their changing room, then I was given an excuse when I asked what happened. I'm starting to think they don't trust me enough with their problems." You pout, even though the boy you called can't see it.

He sighs. "Maybe they just don't want to trouble you with all their issues. Or it could've been something private that they might not have wanted to share with you just yet. Either way, you shouldn't be so worried about it."

"But I'm their friend and manager. I want them to trust me with their issues."

Akaashi had a feeling he might know what the guys had been talking about. "Maybe it was just guy stuff and they felt like it would be too embarrassing to tell you."

"Maybe. But with how Kenma's been acting recently, I'm getting concerned!"

"How has he been acting?"

"According to the others, he's finally acting normal again."

"Oh, well that's good. I was worried he might be having problems with acting normal again."

You frown. "But that's not the normal I'm used to. I like it when he looks at me and goes out of his may to make conversation with me!"

"I can see how this causes problems."

"Do you see something I can't?"

"Not exactly."

"Do you know something I don't?"

"I know a lot of things that you don't. However, in terms of what I know about your team, I'm not the one that should tell you. It's more personal and you should hear it from someone more directly involved."

You groan. "You're not helpful! You should just tell me!"

Akaashi chuckles. "It's really not my place to tell you. Anyways, it's getting late. I'm gonna head to bed. Get plenty of rest. Goodnight."

"Fine. Goodnight."

You sigh as he hangs up. You wanted to know what was going on, but no one was telling you anything. It was starting to upset you. And you had only one option left.

Text Kenma.

You: Hey, Kenma-senpai. What's been going on lately?

Kenma: Why do you ask?

You: I'm concerned for the team. Can you tell me what's going on?

Kenma: ...

You: ?

Kenma: Not at the moment. I don't feel ready to share it yet

You: I see. Sorry to bother you then

Kenma: You're not bothering me

You: You sure?

Kenma: Yes

You: Alright. I'm going to try getting some sleep. Goodnight, senpai

Kenma: Goodnight, Y/n

Your heart fluttered when he actually sent the text, using your first name for the first time. A smile crept onto your face as you looked at the message.

You were able to get a good night's sleep.

Kenma, however, had his heart racing. He was freaking out because he never received goodnight texts before. And, of course, this this meant more to him since he has a crush on you.

He tried to play a video game before going to bed, but he was having trouble concentrating. He went back to reread your messages and smiled, a small blush creeping onto his face. He kept rereading the messages until he eventually fell asleep.

In the morning, the boys met up for morning practice in their changing room. It was quiet, at first.

Until a certain first year opened his mouth. "So, Kenma-san... do you really like Y/n?"

The poor second year setter turned bright red. "Shut up, Lev!"

Kuroo smirked, wanting to tease. "Are her eyes so mesmerizing to you that you fell in love with our beautiful manager?"

Kenma faced his teammates. "Leave me alone! Don't make comments on my feelings!"

Kuroo burst out laughing. "I'm sorry, Kenma. But I just had to! A chance like this is once in a lifetime!"

Kenma frowned. "Even if I only like one person my whole life, you don't have the right to tease me about it."

Yaku sighed. "It's still completely unexpected from you, Kenma. No one would've ever guessed that you'd end up with a crush."

Yamamoto seemed excited about the topic. "How did it happen, Kenma?"

Kenma's blush darkened as he remembered his prior encounters to you. "I don't wanna talk about it."

Kuroo grinned. "I heard about it from Y/n a while back. They look into each other's eyes and it's apparently like a spell get cast on them. They become so mesmerized that they have no clue about what's going on around them."

"Shut up, Kuro."

Lev's eyes were sparkling. "Is that true, Kenma-san?"

Kenma didn't look at his teammates. "Yes."

Fukunaga chuckled. "Kenma had a love at first sight experience."

Kuroo agreed. "He really did."

Kenma turned to his teammates, voice raising. "That's enough! Stop talking about it!"
