"Y/n!"

You step out of the train, only to find the entire Karasuno boys' volleyball club waiting for you. You smile at them, walking up to the group of boys plus Kiyoko. "Hey, guys. I didn't know you'd be waiting for me today."

Hinata ran up to you, cheeks flushed pink. "Practice ended early today, so we all thought we could pick you up from the station."

"I appreciate it. Can we get out of here now? I'm ready to eat dinner and go to bed."

Sugawara nodded. "We thought you might say that. We planned on stopping at a restaurant together tonight. Come on."

As the team begins walking, you catch up to hug your cousin and childhood best friend. The three of you catch up on what happened since your last visit. You explained how troublesome your team has become lately, showing your concern for the boys you manage while also complaining about how exhausted you felt.

Tsukishima snorted. "Of course they'd do dumb shit like that."

Yamaguchi held a small smile on his face. "So you think the team is still fighting on a regular basis, Y/n?"

You nod. "They just won't tell me anything, though. I just have to assume that things are running well enough, but I can tell there's some tension under the surface. I wish they'd open up to me. I wanna know how I can help them!"

Kiyoko overheard your conversation, walking over to you. "Maybe they just don't want to trouble you. If they find it important for you to know, I bet they'd ask for your help in how to deal with it."

You sigh, frowning. "But still, they should be communicating more with me. It's hard for me to understand them when I don't know what's going on."

Tsukishima. "Have you thought that maybe whatever's going on involves you and no one wants you to know?"

"Could that be what's happening?"

He nods. "If they really don't want to tell you, then maybe it has something to do with you. I don't know for sure since I'm not part of their team, but it seems like maybe that's what's going on."

You hum. "That would make a bit of sense. But if it has something to do with me, wouldn't they say something to me?"

Kiyoko shook her head. "I don't think they'd want to tell you that you're what's causing problems with the team. Maybe, if it does have to do with you, they just don't want to risk hurting your feelings or make you put all the blame on yourself."

Yamaguchi nods. "Maybe they're not telling you for a good reason, like that. I don't think you need to worry about it, Y/n."

You sigh, looking away from everyone. "I hope you guys are right. But I also want to hope that nothing's really going on, and that this is all in my imagination."

You all continue walking in silence. No one dared to utter a single word after the conversation that had ended.

Even though it was left unsaid, everyone on the Karasuno team was worried about you. Lately, you've seemed more stressed and focused on your own team. That was the reason why the Karasuno boys wanted to go to dinner with you. They were hoping to help you relax and get your mind off of your troubles.

Once you all got to the restaurant, a hostess lead you all to a large table. You all took your seats, you sat in between Kiyoko and Tsukishima.

Hinata sat across from you, smiling and blushing. "Hey, Y/n."

You offer a small smile to him. "Hey, Hinata. How've you been?"

"Good. How about you?"

You shrug. "I've been better and I've been worse. I'm just making it through each day."

He nods. "How's your team doing? Are they still fighting?"

You shake your head. "Not anymore. Everything's fine with the team. They're just loud and energetic now."

Sugawara let out a sigh. "That's a relief, or it should be, right?"

You nod. "It's better than it was."

"That's good. I hope things keep going well for you. We were all worried when there were problems last weekend. It's good to hear that things are less stressful for you now."

You smile. "Yup. Everything's just fine."

Yet, you knew it wasn't.

You remained silent throughout dinner, your mind elsewhere.
