The practice wrapped up, the members of the team cleaning the gym. You offered to help, but the team said you didn't have to since you were a guest and not part of the team.

So there you were, folding up the net and putting it into the store room. Someone came up behind you, clearing their throat to gain your attention.

You turn around and see the boy. "What's up?"

Tsukishima frowns. "You didn't have to help out, you know."

"I know. I just felt like helping since I'm here. I'm used to doing this with my team anyway."

He sighs. "I knew my teammates would bother you, but I didn't expect the shrimp to be constantly trying to gain your attention."

You shrug. "It's fine. They were all just excited that someone new was watching."

"No, they were excited that a pretty girl wanted to watch them practice."

"Your first year setter, the one with the black hair, didn't seem too excited about it. In fact, he seemed annoyed with how excited Hinata was."

"Can't say I blame the king."

"Doesn't he hate that nickname?"

Tsukishima's eyes went wide. "You actually picked up on that?"

You nod. "I could see him ready to explode every time you called him that. He really hates that name."

He nods, walking out of the store room with you. "He does. And it's hilarious to watch him freak out over it."

"You're so mean to your teammates."

"They're annoying."

"Y/n! Tsukki!" Yamaguchi called out to you two.

You smile at your childhood friend. "Hey, Tadashi. What's up?"

The green haired middle blocker gives a nervous smile. "Well... the rest of the team was wondering if we all would be ok to hangout together for the rest of the day. Hinata seemed excited and wanted me to ask Y/n if she'd wanna come along?"

You shrug. "I'd be cool with that."

Said ginger haired boy called over to you. "Hey, Y/n! Did you wanna hang out with the rest of the team today?!"

You yelled back at him. "Yeah! Tadashi, Kei, and I will be hanging out with all of you!"

"Awesome!" The short first year jumped up, cheering to himself.

You look back at your cousin, who had a deep frown on his face. "How bad can it be?"

You sigh with the third years, watching the four first year boys bickering with each other.

"I regret asking how bad this could be. They don't get along at all, do they?"

Daichi shook his head. "Not one bit."

Sugawara stared at a specific first year, pity strong in his gaze. "Poor Yamaguchi, he looks ready to cry."

You look at your friend, seeing the third year was right. "I think it's time I go help him out."

You walk over to the first years. "Yo, knock it off. You're gonna make your captain mad."

Yamaguchi looked over at you, thankful you came over to stop it. "Thank you so much, Y/n."

You shrug, looking at the other three first years, who looked ready to start fist fighting. "Seriously, knock it off and get along."

Hinata flinched, looking over at you. "Hey, Y/n! Sorry for that, but Tsukishima started it! He keeps calling me shrimpy!"

"Kei, I told you to be nicer to your teammates."

He clicked his tongue in annoyance. "They're annoying."

Kageyama looked ready to push the taller boy in the face. "Shut the fuck up, you salt shaker."

"Is the king upset?"

"Fuck you!" He got ready to swing his arm.

You sighed, standing right in between the two. "I said, knock it off."

As Kageyama swung his arm, you grabbed his fist and stopped it from getting closer to your cousin. His eyes widened, seeing how you actually stopped the movement of his arm.

"I don't think you heard me. I said, knock. It. Off." You pushed his arm back to him.

Tsukishima smirked. "Wow, the king can be stopped by a girl. Must've been a weak punch."

You turn to your cousin, a dangerous look on your face. "When I said to knock it off, I meant you too."

He frowned. "Don't lump me in with these idiots."

"Then stop picking fights with them. Listen to me when I tell you to stop. Or, next time, you're getting hit."
