"Kuroo! Kenma! Hey!" A voice called out, immediately pulling you and Kenma out of your trance.

Kenma glares at the approaching members of the volleyball team. He hated how they all had such terrible timing.

You just watched with a blank expression as the entire team gathered at the school gates. You felt somewhat disappointed that you were interrupted once more. This time, you felt slightly annoyed by the people who have gotten in the way of you and Kenma's moment.

The guys, however, had no clue of what they had just stopped. They felt excited to start their morning practice. They felt even better when they saw you standing at the entrance to the school.

Yamamoto was probably the happiest of all the guys. "Hey, L/n!"

You raise your hand for a lazy wave. "Mornin."

Kuroo just blinked, coming out of the daze he'd been in when watching you and Kenma interact. "Let's get to practice. We don't have time to talk. To the gym, everyone."

You all walk to the gym, the boys going to their changing room before beginning their morning practice. You sit down on a bench, feeling somewhat upset that you and Kenma don't have the chance to stare into each other's eyes.

Kenma entered the gym, eyes immediately wandering over to where you sit. For a split second, you two made eye contact before Kuroo pulled Kenma onto the court in order to start practice.

Whenever he felt he had the chance, Kenma would look your way during practice. Each time he did, he was hopeful that he'd be able to meet your gaze. Unfortunately for him, you were always preoccupied with something whenever he glanced in your direction.

And while he was focused on practice, your eyes were glued onto Kenma. You followed his every move, hoping to get a look at his gorgeous golden orbs. But every so often, Tsukishima would send you a text and you'd end up responding immediately, meaning your attention was off of Kenma during those times.

And thus, a vicious cycle of you two being unable to make eye contact began during the morning practice.

Yet it didn't go completely unnoticed.

Kuroo would occasionally glance at you or his childhood best friend. And he saw the way you two stared at each other while one of you was focused on something else. A smirk spread on his face as ideas popped into his head. He figured he might as well try helping you two get together and decided that he'd leave you two be whenever you two start staring into each other's eyes.

And that was how morning practice had went. Luckily, it wasn't too long. But it was still long enough to make both you and Kenma feel impatient to look into each other's eyes. You two were almost desperate to feel that attraction move your bodies once more.

Because of that desire, Kenma hurried to get changed and ran off. When he found you, he placed his hand gently onto your shoulder in order to get your attention.

You turn to face him, your eyes immediately meeting his. And the attraction began pulling you two towards each other.

Kenma gently grasped your hand in his, closing the distance between your bodies. He tilted his head as it inched closer to yours.

And before either of you knew it, your lips touched.

You both felt a spark shoot through your entire bodies. In an instant, you both felt surprised, yet pleased with how things turned out. Within a single moment, you two felt something unknown spread throughout your entire bodies.

You two continued locking lips with each other, not once breaking the enchanting eye contact you two held. Even though Kenma wasn't good with people, he felt like he was meant to do this with you.

And he craved more.

The hand that wasn't holding yours slid to your waist, squeezing lightly before making its way to your ass. It remained there for a few moments, but the feeling was enough to make you gasp against Kenma's lips.

He had no clue what had gotten into him. But he didn't want it to stop. For a reason unknown to the setter, he desired finally having this moment with you. And he didn't want it to end.

But, of course, a moment shared between the two of you wasn't meant to last.

"Kenma!" Yamamoto's voice sounded from behind the setter.

Kenma flinched before reluctantly moving away from you. "Sorry." He muttered before turning away to meet up with the boy that called his name.

You stood there a moment longer, watching the pudding head walk away from you. You didn't understand why he apologized to you. There was only one thought in your head.
