You awoke the next morning, having barely slept the night prior.

All you could think about last night was Kenma's golden orbs. You felt yourself being pulled in, just from thinking about it.

As you get out of bed and begin to prepare for the day, all you could think about were those mesmerizing golden eyes that have somehow captured you under their spell. You moved slower than usual this morning, catching the attention of your parents.

Your mom just watched your every movement. "Are you feeling alright, sweetie?"

You nod. "I'm just fine, maybe a little tired. I had a bit of trouble sleeping last night. I guess I'm more excited for school than I thought I'd be."

Your dad sighed. "Try to actually sleep at night. It's important for you to get plenty of rest, since you're still growing."

"I will. Imma get going now. Don't want to be late to morning practice with the team. I'll see you both tonight." And out of your house you went, making your way to your high school.

You smile and skip a bit, mind still focused on the golden orbs you can't get out of your head. You were excited to be able to see them again. You wanted to stare into them, get lost in them. And more than anything, you wanted to see what would happen between you and Kenma if no one else gets in the way.

Normally, you wouldn't think like this, but the unusual way you were attracted to the boy every time you two made eye contact fascinated you. And you were dying to see what this attraction could lead to.

You started feeling as if you were a completely different person. To even think or feel the way you did was unthinkable. And yet, here you are, obsessing over a boy just because you're drawn to him every time you look into his eyes. You never did this before.

But, maybe, Kozume Kenma was just a special person.

You stopped walking, realizing your breathing had become erratic as you kept thinking about Kenma's golden orbs. Your vision blurred briefly. And you felt almost as if you would faint.

Was this what they called being in love? Maybe it was. Or maybe it was something different.

You couldn't tell either way. To you, this was just a new feeling that you wanted to explore. You felt thrilled by the thought of being able to look into Kenma's eyes.

And Kenma felt the same about the thought of being able to look into your eyes.

He only got out of bed and prepared for the day because he wanted to find out what would happen once his eyes met yours. He desperately wanted to look into your eyes and get lost, allowing his body to move on its own.

Even though Kuroo was walking beside him, you and your eyes were the only things Kenma could focus on.

A small smile crept onto the setter's lips as he started fantasizing about staring into your eyes, his boy moving closer to yours until there was no space left in between you two. And he let his imagination take over, giving him the idea of what kissing you might feel like.

But it didn't stop there. Oh, no. He could picture his hands being able to feel every inch of you, never once breaking his eyes away from yours.

And you were imagining the exact same scenario. You pictured how far the interaction could go between you and Kenma.

And it excited you even more.

The thought of staring into his eyes as you two take steps into becoming more intimate with each other was enough to make you want to see those golden orbs right away. Your patience for the moment you two make eye contact was running thin.

And you almost completely stopped caring about whether or not there was anyone else around.

You only cared about seeing what would happen the next time you and the quiet setter gaze into each other's eyes.

And that moment came sooner than expected.

There you stood, eyes meeting Kenma's golden ones.

Kuroo and Kenma stood a few meters away from you, all of you having arrived at the school gates.

No words were spoken between you and Kenma. But the attraction had started pulling you two towards each other. You both slowly approached the other, not once breaking the eye contact you two held.

Kuroo watched silently as this was taking place. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious. The fact that you two moved towards each other while remaining silent was beyond interesting to the tall third year. His eyes remained trained on the two of you as you two finally reach each other.

Like always, both of you reach for the other, until this time, you two touch the other's hand. Instinctively, your fingers intertwine together. It was almost as if this was normal. And it was becoming normal for you and Kenma.

Kuroo's eyes widened at the sight. Never before, not even in his wildest dreams, would he have ever imagined that Kenma would act like this with anyone. Least of all, someone he just met.

You and Kenma felt that pull, causing you two to bring your faces closer together. Your lips were just centimeters from Kenma's.
