Tsukishima just stares at you throughout dinner. "You seem happy, Y/n. Has something happened?"

You shake your head, giving him a big smile. "I'm just glad to be back here with you guys."

Yamaguchi matches your smile with one of his own. "We're glad to have you back here for the weekend."

You turn to the green haired boy. "Next weekend, we should do this at your house, Tadashi."

"I'll talk to my parents about it."

Tsukishima looked between you and his friend. "I guess I'll have to talk with mom about that."

You beamed at your cousin. "I'm already excited to come back again!"

Your cousin blinks, still looking at you. "I'm sorry to say this Y/n, but we're also busy on the weekends."

"You are?"

He nods. "Our team has practice. The whole weekend." He grimaced.

"Boo! I wanted to spend time with you guys all weekend."

Yamaguchi brightened up slightly. "Why don't you come with us to practice?"

You perked up. "Can I?"

Tsukishima shrugged. "Might end up being better if you came along. We can still spend time together that way, and there will be one more person I can deal with around."

"Then I'll be watching your practices this weekend."

After dinner, Tsukishima approached you while Yamaguchi was taking a shower. "Y/n."

You look over at him. "Is everything alright, Kei?"

He shrugged, sitting on the couch beside you. "Just wanted to check in."

"Check in?"

"You seemed like you were having an unusual time at school one of the times we called. Ya know, about that guy. Has anything happened with it since then?"

"I didn't really wanna think about it, since I'm here for you and Tadashi."

"Sorry. I just wanted to make sure everything was alright."

You give him a warm smile. "Don't worry about me. I'd let you know if something was wrong."

"Did something happen, though?"

"Can you keep a secret?"

Tsukishima's eyes widened. "I'll keep whatever you say a secret. So, what happened?"

"Me and this senpai of mine, the one I talked about feeling that weird way around before, well... we kissed."

"You - what?!"

"Shh! Please don't freak out!"

The blond had wide eyes. "What happened to make you two kiss? You barely even know each other!"

"I know! But when we lock eyes, we just feel drawn to each other. We don't even need to speak, we're on the same wavelength. And we ended up kissing a few times when we made eye contact. That's all."

Tsukishima sighed. "I won't make a big deal of this. But next time something happens, let me know immediately."

"Will do."

He leaned over and gave you a hug, squeezing you slightly. "Man, to think you'd have your first kiss and not tell me right away."

"Sorry."

"It's fine. Tell me more about this guy."

"He's a second year, the setter for the volleyball club I'm the manager for. He has fairly long hair, dyed blond, though his dark brown roots show. And his mesmerizing golden eyes...." You trailed off, getting lost in thought just from picturing his eyes in your head.

"Name?"

"Kozume Kenma."

Tsukishima sits back on the couch. "Interesting. And how do you feel whenever you're around him?"

"I can't really explain it. I just feel so attracted to him, it's like I stop having control over my own body once we make eye contact. And when we kissed... Kei, it just felt so right. Does... does that make sense?"

"I've never experienced anything like that myself, but I think I get it."

You sigh in relief. "Thanks, Kei. It's weird that all this happened, and I felt like there was no one to go to so I can talk about it. I'm glad you're so understanding. I really appreciate having you in my life, and especially as my cousin, Kei."

He looked away, a small smile on his face. "It's no problem, Y/n."

"What about you? Got any romantic interests?"

He frowned, looking at you once more. "No. You know me, I have no interest in romance or relationships."

"Ok.... Well, is there anything about your life that you do wanna talk about?"

Tsukishima looked into your eyes, letting out a sigh. "Just... be careful while you're at our practices. I already messaged our coach and sensei. They agreed to letting you sit in and watch."

"Ok, so why do I need to be careful?"

"The guys on the team are... they might try to flirt with you or something. I don't want you getting involved with some of them."

"Lemme guess, they're loud and annoying, and you think they wouldn't go well with me. But you also don't want to ever have to risk being related to any of them? Right?"

He sighed. "You know me so well."
