"y/n!" dad says calling me down.

"yeah?" i ask from the stop of the stairs.

"we gotta go your mom is going into labor!" he yelled

"ok coming!" i said.

i'm so excited to meet my new baby sister! i can't wait to spoil her. i quickly pack my ipad, unicorn headphones, charger, portable charger, my coloring book, and a blanket. who knows how long we'll be there?

i quickly run downstairs and am met with my mom leaning over the counter and dad rubbing her back.

"um mommy are you okay?" i ask. she gives me a death glare.

" she's having a contraction" dad explained.

"oh okay." i said putting my head down and walking to the car. the baby hasn't even come yet and my mom already doesn't like me? no y/n don't think like that she's just in pain. don't take her actions to heart i thought.

once we got to the hospital they were quick to get us into a room. my mommy was in a lot of pain and i felt bad.

"mommy are you okay?" i ask. dad was getting her some water from the cafeteria.

"i'm fine y/n..." she said.

"ok i was just making sure." i said

"Y/N! CAN YO-... sorry baby i'm sorry but can you just not ask questions or talk?" she said. she quickly changed her tone when i jumped back by her sudden outburst.

i simply nodded sadly and went to sit in the chair in the corner. i put on my unicorn headphones and watched a movie. my mommy wasn't quite ready to have the baby. they said she was 5cm dilated what ever that means.

shortly daddy walked back into the room with water for him and mom and some chips and gatorade for me.

"here you go girly" daddy said.

"thank you daddy!" i said cheerfully but a little loud.

"y/n! please!" mommy said.

"i'm sorry mommy..." i said as i lowered my head and went back to my movie.

"trav i feel a lot of pressure can you please get the nurse?" i heard mommy say.

a nurse walked into the room and said that my mommy was finally ready to have the baby!! she went to grab the rest of her crew. then i saw uncle austin, grandma, and grandpa walk into the room! i ran over and gave uncle austin a hug. he's my best friend!!

"uncle austin!!" i yelled as i went to go hug him.

"y/n!!!" my mommy yelled.

"i'm sorry mommy i forgot" i said.

"here i'll go walk around with her." uncle austin said.

"yes. please do." mommy said while sighing.

once me and uncle austin left the room i swore to myself that i wouldn't talk. if i don't talk then mommy won't be mad at me. uncle austin took me to an area in the hospital where there was a little play place.

"why dont you go play y/n?" uncle austin said

"no." i said.

"ok then." he said.

"ok taylor when you get your next contraction i need you to push." the nurse said. i nodded and trav held my hand.

"squeeze my hand as hard as you need to i promise you won't hurt me" he said.

"i feel a contraction" i said.
