today was the day that i committed to college to play softball. i got a scholarship from fsu (florida state university) and it is one of the best schools for college level softball. mom and dad are really proud of me...well i think so. they've been more worried about my little sister and little brother. dad is my step-dad but i see him as my dad because my dad was never really in the picture. mom had me at 20 and my dad is jake gyllenhaal. my little siblings are aged 2 and 3 so they have their hands full so i understand that they pay more attention to them.
"hey mom?" i asked. mom was sitting on the couch answering emails while dad was out with my little siblings ben and aria at the park that's in our neighborhood.
"what's up?" she asked not looking up from her computer.
"you and dad are coming to my signing day tomorrow right?" i asked.
"mhm" she said while typing.
"okay. just making sure. i'm gonna catch a ride with one of my friends if that's okay?" i said.
"yeah whatever y/n" mom said. i nodded and went back up to my room. i picked out my outfit for tomorrow and put in some heatless curls so they'd be ready for tomorrow.
a few hours later i was called down for dinner.
"y/n can you set the table?" dad asked.
"yeah sure" i said. after i sat the table we all sat down to eat.
"how was you guys' day?" i asked.
"fine." mom said.
"good." dad said. why are they being dry as hell. as we were eating aria was throwing a fit and ended up throwing her food on the ground.
"y/n clean it up" mom said frustrated.
"oh yeah sorry" i said getting up to grab some paper towels. after the whole dinner situation i went upstairs to my room to get ready for bed.
"goodnight girly" dad said as he knocked on my doorframe.
"oh goodnight dad! oh! also are you gonna be able to go to my signing day tomorrow afternoon?" i asked.
"oh! yeah! remind me of the time again?" he asked scratching his head.
"it's from 12pm to 3" i said.
"yeah sure i'll be there" he said. i smiled and he left the room. after finalizing my outfit and making sure everything was set to go i went to bed.
the next morning came and i went downstairs to make breakfast.
"morning mom" i said. she must've not of heard me because she didn't answer. she was making sure aria and ben were fed. i quickly made some eggs then headed upstairs to get dressed and brush my teeth.

after i put my outfit on i put on some makeup and then my friend was here to pick me up.
