Feeling refreshed after a long and hot shower, Neteyam steps out onto the title. The mirrors are all fogged, reflecting only a blurred blue figure in place of his lean body. He grabs his towel, drying himself off, then looks at the robes hanging from their hooks. With a hum, he considers finally using the one Aonung got for him, but ultimately decides to just take Aonung's.
With his hair still damp, he leaves the bathroom, sauntering over to the kitchen. He returned home at about 8:00pm from work, and greeted Aonung, who was leaving as he came in. Neteyam's a waiter at a nice restaurant. Not the same one he once caused a scene in though.
Working nights is more Aonung's thing, so Neteyam works a midday shift which allows them to have mornings together, as well as nights if Aonung is able to return on time. He's become a favorite at the club, so he's often there overtime.
Tonight, however, he's supposed to be returning home at the standard time. It's currently just after midnight, so Aonung should be on his way home. On days he stays longer, he'll end up home at about 2:00am.
He ate earlier, which was followed by a nap, then he woke and took his shower. His dinner was something Aonung cooked for him while he was at work, but is now craving a midnight snack. This is really Aonung's kitchen, since he never lets the blue boy do the cooking, but Neteyam has been wanting to surprise him with something.
Thinking perhaps he'll bake, he heads over to the cabinet, but is stopped by the phone ringing. He pauses as he turns to look at it, hoping it isn't the same colleague from the club, calling for the same reason as last time.
With a sigh, he goes over to answer it, and is sure enough greeted by the woman he only knows as Dolli. She cuts straight to the chase since this is the fourth time she's having to contact him. He needs to go retrieve Aonung, because the boy has let himself be drugged again.
It's been a little over three months, and Neteyam keeps telling the boy to be careful, but this keeps happening. Aonung is too popular and too new, he's easy prey. Without bothering to say anything back, Neteyam hangs up and rushes to put something on before heading out.
He takes his Skimwing, which has a raft attached to it. Originally it was for when his siblings would visit, but now apparently it's good for taking Aonung back home after he's preyed upon.
Neteyam glares as he heads down the stream, absolutely sick of his marine boy getting treated like some object to be used by people for their entertainment. No doubt the boy will tell him something like "It's just the price of the job sometimes." but he doesn't want to hear that.
There will always be those people who have no respect for those like Aonung. They allow themselves to be seen as items, and most treat them as precious as a fragile one, but not everyone plays nicely with their toys. He's tried not to lose his lid over it, since he's supposed to support his boyfriend one hundred percent, but he fears for the boy twice as much.
Once he arrives at Bripper's, he storms in, going through the loud crowd, and a few of the workers instantly recognize him. They lead him to one of the private rooms, which is where they've kept Aonung.
In front of the door is Dolli, who gives him an apologetic look as she lets him in. On the sleek black couch, Aonung is in the middle of humming while laid out on his back, until he hears the door open. He's still dressed in his flashy clothes.
