Annabeth Picked up the wounded Percy, threw his arm over her shoulder and followed Clarisse who was clearing a path, and fighting like an angry boar.

"Wh—what are you doing here?" Percy said. "Is...is this...a dream?" his voice sounded like it was fading.

"Keep him alive Annabeth, I didn't throw my whole life away to rescue a dead man!" Clarisse said, spearing two men at once.

They reached a door that was still open, passed through it and entered a dark tunnel. Clarisse cut a chain, and the metal grated door slammed shut behind them, crushing a pursuer to death. The other's were sticking their weapons into the doors holes trying to stab any one of them.

"Come on this way!" Clarisse said, leading them down another tunnel.

"No..."Percy said. "Not this way..."

"I think I know how to find my way out!" Clarisse said, opening a large door to a large room filled with men covered in armor and with angry looks. "Which way Percy?" Clarisse asked, slamming the door shut. She stuck her spear into the handle locking it, right as the men on the other side slammed into it trying to get them. Annabeth handed Clarisse her sword, and she ran down the hall following Percy's rout.

They reached a tunnel, the floor thick and slippery with blood. They reached a room, with a small looking chute. "In...here..." Percy said.

Without fight, Clarisse jumped in first, Annabeth helped Percy in, then she joined after him. The slid down a long dark tunnel, gaining speed from sliding on something slippery. They all crashed into a stinky pile of something that was also went and slimy, I was dark out and they couldn't see anything, but they were outside now.

"Quick..." Percy said, helping the girls out of whatever they landed in.

They reached a road, and followed it until Percy collapsed. Clarisse picked him up over her shoulders, knowing about Annabeth's bad foot. They found an empty cave that has seemed to be forgotten with time. There was ruins of building around it, but nothing anywhere near new.

A booming roar shook the rock ceiling above them as they found a dark spot to sit. "What was that?" Annabeth said.

"Maybe the gods getting angry at us," Clarisse said, setting Percy down. "I'll go out and find stuff for a fire."

Clarisse left, and Annabeth went right to Percy, holding his hand. A while later noises came from the cave, "Who's there?" Annabeth said.

"Clarisse," she said, coming in quickly. "I managed to steal some supplies from a nearby healer. I'll get some light started. A bit later, a small fire erupted, and lit the cave in a dancing orange light. "What the?" Clarisse said. "What is all over us?"

Annabeth looked at Clarisse, who was covered in red something. "The chute..." Percy groaned. "...dead...contestants..."

Clarisse looked at him confused, then her eyes went wide in realization. "THAT WAS A CHUTE FOR DEAD PEOPLE! THAT MEANS THE PILE AT THE END WAS...." Clarisse started wrenching.

"Only way..." Percy said his eye getting heavy.

"Shush Percy," Annabeth said, moving his long dirty hair out of his face, and rubbing his newly scared cheek with her thumb.

"Here..." Clarisse said. Holding out a sack of stuff. "I don't know any healing..."

Annabeth took the bag, and started covering Percy's wounds with some sort of paste. "Water..." he moaned softly, his voice weaker than before. "Heals me..."

"Are you sure Percy? Clarisse is here," Annabeth said. He nodded weakly, then Annabeth looked at Clarisse. "We need to find water."

Clarisse picked Percy up, and carried him deeper into the cave, where she had a stream of water. "I still don't know how this will help him." she said skeptically.

"Just lay him in the water," Annabeth said.

Clarisse laid Percy down into the water, all the way up to his neck. They watched the fresh slashes on his body start closing in an instant. After a few seconds, Percy stood up, and looked at them both.

"What?" he said, perfectly fine now.

"What the fuck was that!?" Clarisse said. Another roar the was louder, shaking the cave so much dust fell from the stoney ceiling onto them. "What the fuck was that!?" she said again.

"Clarisse... I'm the son of Poseidon, I'm a Demi-god. Annabeth is the daughter of Athena, also a Demi-god," Percy said. Clarisse stood there frozen.
