(DAY BEFORE ENGAGEMENT)

Jin leaned back into the couch, letting out a sigh of exhaustion. He had been running around all day, making sure everything was perfect for the engagement party. But now, finally, he had a moment to himself.

He took a deep breath, letting his eyes close for a moment. But just as he was about to relax, he suddenly remembered something important. With a weary groan, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.

Jin unlocked the screen and opened his contacts, scrolling until he found the number he was looking for.

Feeling exhausted and worn out, Jin's voice came out as a whisper when he said a small 'hello' to the person on the other end. The person seemed concerned and asked, "What's up? Hyung. You sound really tired. Are you okay?"

Jin chuckled weakly, running a hand through his messy hair. "Yeah, I'm alright," he said, his voice hoarse. "Just tired, you know? There's a lot of work to get done before the party tomorrow."

There was a moment of silence on the other end, and then the person spoke up again, their voice soft. "You need to take a break, hyung. You'll burn yourself out if you keep going like this."

Jin sighed, slumping further into the couch. "I know, I know," he mumbled. "But there's just so much to do. I can't afford to rest yet."

"By the way, are you coming tomorrow? If you say no, I'll..." Jin started to say.

"I'll come, hyung."

Jin felt a weight lift off his shoulders at the person's words. A small smile tugged at his lips. "Good," he said, his voice slightly relieved. "I wouldn't forgive you if you skipped it."

"Hyung, take it easy tonight, okay? And don't drink too much, especially if I won't be there to stop you."

Jin chuckled, rolling his eyes playfully. "When have I ever gotten drunk to the point of needing someone to stop me?" he retorted.

"Last month's company party, Yoongi hyung's birthday... shall I go on?"

Jin groaned, a sheepish smile on his face. "Okay, okay. Point taken. I'll try to behave."
