In the dimly lit office, with a cold night breeze creeping through the window, a manly figure sat at his office table, furiously typing away on his laptop.

Frustration consumed him as his thoughts were consumed by that one person - her. He spun his chair around, running his fingers through his hair, muttering, "How on earth am I supposed to complete this projection when all I can think about is her?" He glanced at the words on his laptop screen.

"Financial Projection:..."

That's all it said, as he just kept erasing and rewriting it because his thoughts were in disarray, thanks to her.

Suddenly, he heard the sound of a key unlocking the door and the click-clack of heels approaching. Without bothering to turn around and see who it was, he stayed put in his seat.

"Did you finish it?" a feminine voice inquired as she entered the room.

"Nah," he replied nonchalantly, not really caring about what she had to say.

"It's been 3 hours since I locked you in this office, Taehyung. And you're still saying 'nah'? Talk about irony," the woman sarcastically clapped her hands, while he let out a frustrated sigh, turning around, his face dimly lit by the scarce light in the room.

"I am trying to-"

"You're still not over that girl?" she asked, raising her eyebrow and crossing her arms.

"Never," Taehyung whispered, as the woman let out a sigh, trying to calm herself down.

"You weren't meant to fall in love with her, and you know that," she declared, as Taehyung slumped back in his chair, resting his head on it.

"Can't help it, can't help it, Noona," Taehyung murmured, closing his eyes and daydreaming about her. A soft smile appeared on his lips as he imagined her adorable gummy smile.

IU slammed her fist on the table, clearly frustrated. "I'll make sure she doesn't get in your way anymore," she declared angrily.

"You're not going to do anything. That's my order," Taehyung retorted, his eyes darkening as he stared into her soul. IU swallowed nervously, feeling intimidated by his intense aura.

"I want the work finished in a few minutes and that's my order," IU stated, gripping the doorknob tightly with her left hand. She looked at Taehyung, but deep down, she was still afraid of his commanding presence.

A minute had passed since she left, and Taehyung was just chilling in his chair, eyes closed, when his phone started ringing with a not-so-sweet tune. Talk about bad timing!

He let out a frustrated huff and slowly opened his eyes, glancing at the phone before reluctantly picking it up. He stayed silent, waiting for the person on the other end to speak first.

"Hello?" a soft voice greeted him, and Taehyung's eyes widened as he looked at the Caller ID. It was her.

A smile formed on his face as he replied, "Greetings, princess."

He could practically feel her blushing on the other end as a smirk appeared on his lips. The control he had on her was unmeasurable.

"Uh, Taehyungie? We're... I mean..." Jennie's voice trailed off, clearly unsure of how to continue.

Taehyung leaned in closer to the phone and whispered in his deep, soothing tone, "What's on your mind, sweetheart? Just say it."

"We... We're having a couples' party. So, uh, are you free?" Jennie asked, her words stumbling over each other. Taehyung couldn't help but chuckle, taking in the mess on his desk and the pending work. But saying no to his girl would be impossible, wouldn't it be?
