"Mommy, please!" Chu cried tugging at Jennie's arm.
"No, Chu."
"What's going on?" Rosé, who had just entered the office, whispered to Jungkook.
Jungkook replied quietly, "Her last mission."
Rosé felt a chill run down her spine upon hearing his words.
Rosé exclaimed, her eyes wide with surprise, "Just tonight?"
Jungkook glanced at her for a moment before turning his gaze back towards Chu and her mother.
"I mean, she just got the throne today. Why is she going on the mission so quickly?"
"I told her not to go. But you know how stubborn she is. She won't listen no matter what we say, even if it costs our lives."
Rosé noticed Jisoo talking to Jennie, trying to convince her of something. But Jennie seemed too busy getting ready and settling her weapons in her pants.
Rosé asked, sounding confused, "What are they talking about?"
Jungkook nodded, a weary expression on his face as he stated, "Chu wants to go with her on this mission."
Rosé gasped in disbelief, her mouth agape as she exclaimed, "Are you kidding me? This mission is one of the most dangerous!"
"And maybe the last too," Jungkook's words hung in the air, leaving Rosé frozen in place. She turned her gaze from Jungkook to Jennie, who was securing her bulletproof boots.
"Wh...what do you mean?" Rosé managed to stammer, her voice trembling with fear.
Jungkook paused for a moment, his gaze fixed on Jennie, before replying to Rosé, "I mean that this mission could be Jennie's last."
"You...you can't be serious," Rosé whispered, her voice barely audible.
"I'm deadly serious," Jungkook said, his voice calm and steady. "This mission is the most risky she's ever handled. Cause this time it's about dead feelings which might come back to life."
"Dead feelings..." Rosé repeated softly, her voice filled with a mixture of fear and understanding.
"Feelings that could either make or break her if she encounters them."

"But you promised you would let me go with you once you became the queen," Chu protested, pouting.
"I know, Chu," Jennie said, turning towards Chu, her voice gentle. "But this mission is too dangerous. I can't risk putting you in harm's way."
