"SHOTS!" "SHOTS!" "SHOTS!" Practically all of the guys on the wrestling team were shouting. Thomas just arrived at the party a few minutes ago with Jake and Brady. "Let's get a game of beer pong going." Logan said to one of the guys on the team.

"I need a beer." I said to Jake as I headed over towards a cooler. "Glad you guys made it." Logan told us. "Yeah, us too." I said to him as I cracked open my can of beer. "No beer?" I asked Jake. "Oh, uh I only drink vodka soda." Jake said to me. "What are you, a girl!?" I joked to him. "Not cool!" "Yeah man shut up!" Brady said to me. "You guys are mad at me for what?" I asked the both of them.

"Just forget it, we both know the only reason you came was to hang out with Logan." Brady told me as he walked away from me. "What's that supposed to mean?" I asked Jake. "Oh, I don't know he's been in a bad mood all day today." Jake told me. "I get it." I said as I took a sip of my beer.

"Jake can I talk to you for a minute?" Logan asked me as he approached me. "What's up?" I asked. "You still dating Lucy?" He asked me. "Uh yeah, why?" I asked Logan confused. "No reason, just have to say one thing." Logan told me. "And what would that be?" I asked Logan. "I wouldn't just keep your heart set on one girl." Logan told me.

"Nonsense, I've know her since we were little kids. I told Jake. "Just a warning things don't stay peaches and crème forever take it from me." Logan told me. "Whatever, I'm gonna get another beer." I said to Logan as I headed over to the cooler. "Woah, I think you've had enough beer." My friend Brady said to me. "I'm just getting started!" I told Brady.

"So that's why I wasn't home last night." I was explaining to my parents over our family dinner. "Next time just call us when you and your friends decide to have sleepovers." My mom told me as she set our plates into the sink to prep them for the dishwasher. "Thanks for the delicious dinner." I told the both of my parents.

As I walked upstairs to my bedroom I felt free again. I turned in my tv and started to watch MTV ridiculousness was on. Somehow it always seemed to make me laugh no matter what kind of a mood I was in. Suddenly my stomach was starting to hurt, I knew I drank too much last night. I didn't even get a chance to work out today because I was so hungover.

When suddenly my cell phone rang, my caller ID said Lucy. "Everything all right?" I asked her sweetly. "You tell me." She said to me. "I got really wasted last night and I'm really sorry that I didn't stay the night again." I told her as my head was still spinning around. "That's not why I called, I uh just wanted to hear your voice." She told me. "Well it feels good to hear your voice Baby." I told her.

"Would it be okay if I came over?" She asked me. "Yeah sure, I don't see why not." I told her. "Parents home?" She asked me. "Uh, yeah we just ate dinner." I explained. "I just worked out a little bit so I need about a half an hour to freshen up, then I'll be over." Lucy told me. "Okay, sounds good." I agreed.

I heard a nock on my bedroom door, "it's just me." My mother said. "Oh, hi." I said as I noticed she set some laundry down. "Your father went to work." She explained to me. "Figures." I said as I rolled my eyes. "Don't be mad you know things haven't been so easy around here." She said to me as she patted my back.

"I'm not mad I just.... Never mind it's not important." I told her as I set my phone down on my desk. "Talk to me." My Mom said to me. "Oh, uh it's nothing kind of embarrassing not really something I wanna share with you." I said to my mother. "Let me guess, this is about a girl?" She asked me. "How'd you guess?" I asked as my face turned beet red.

"I'm a mother I can sense when my son is starting to like girls." She said to me. "About that, um..." I started to say. "What?" She asked me. "I'm dating Lucy." I told my Mother. "I knew it." She said to me. "How?!" I asked her. "Well because I see her name come up on your phone all of the time and you always smile too." She replied to me.

She wasn't wrong about that and I had a feeling she wouldn't let me live that down without some more parent teasing. "You really are growing up." She told me as she walked out of my room. I had about 10 more minutes until Lucy would be here. My heart was starting to race and my palms were sweaty and shaking. So I splashed some cold water on myself desperately trying to calm down.
