It had been a couple of days since my purging incident and my parents were doing their best to help me get back on track again. The feeling was always there it just rarely left me alone honestly. "Honey, it's time to wake up." My mother said to me early on a Saturday morning. "Can't I sleep a little while longer?" I asked groggily.

"It's almost lunchtime you've been sleeping all morning." She told me. "I didn't realize that it was so late." I told her. "That's okay, you probably need the extra rest." She said to me. I nodded my head and faked a smile. "I told your father that we would meet him for brunch at the dinner since you slept through your first meal." My mother explained to me.

"But I don't wanna go out!" "I wanna stay home in bed!" I said angrily to her as I put the blanket over my face. "It's not good to be isolating yourself like this, you've gotta get out and see some sunshine." She said to me. "It's pretty warm today, honey." She smiled at me as she met on staring at me. "Do I really have to go with you guys?" I asked. "Yes " She said to me.

"I'll give you fifteen minutes to get yourself dressed and ready." She explained as she finally walked out of my room. I began to feel sick when I thought about having to eat at a restaurant in front of people & all of the empty calories that they'd make me eat. Suddenly I felt my stomach starting to growl and I was feeling like I wanted to binge.

I got up out of my bead after a couple of minutes and I quickly got changed into some clean clothes to wear. I combed through my hair then I started to brush my teeth and I then washed my face. My phone was on the charger still. So I unplugged it and put it in my back pocket.

I began to walk down the stairs and I noticed that I began to feel a little bit dizzy. I had to stop for a minute then I began to walk downstairs after I thought the feeling passed. My stomach was starting to feel queasy and I was getting nervous thinking about what the brunch was going to be like.

The hunger pangs were starting to get worse now and my dizziness was too. "Ready to go?" My Mother asked me. "Just a second." I said as I walked down the stairs. "It's okay I'm not in any rush. She said. "I grabbed a bottle of water and started to drink it.

"You're looking kind of pale." "Are you okay?" My mother asked me as she walked over to where I was standing. "Oh uh, yea... just a little tired." I lied. "Well, we will get you some coffee to help wake you up." My mother said to me as she lead me out to the car.

"Your father texted that he's waiting for us at the dinner." My mother told me. "Oh, cool." I said as I changed through the channels on the radio. "Is there anything that you want to do after brunch with Dad?" She asked me cheerfully. "I'm not sure, I'll let you know." I said to her.

The car ride to the dinner was making me feel more and more sick to my stomach by the minute. "How much longer till we get there?" I asked her. "2 minutes." She told me as she continued to drive. "Uh, okay." I said anxiously fidgeting with my fingers.

"I'm so glad that you both were able to make it here." My father said happy as we sat down in a booth. "Hi, Dad." I said to him faking a smile. "Do you know what you want to order?" He asked me. "I'm not quite sure." I said to him as I picked up a menu.

"That's okay, take all of the time that you need." My mother said as she took her sweater off. I noticed that there was a coffee pot set in the middle of the table. I poured myself a cup and set the pot back down in the middle of the table. "No cream?" "No sugar?" My mother asked me.

"No, I like it black." I said as I sipped it slowly. I noticed my father was starting at me and wouldn't take his eyes off of me. It didn't take me long to realize what he was thinking about. I was remembering the Carmel macchiato incident from the other day. And I was pretty sure he was thinking about it too.
