Ah yes the Southern air temple a place of remarkable flowers, monks, and of course the new avatar.
Oh boy, I absolutly Hate this place. there's no freedom ivolved in being a monk or the avatar's big sister! I love my lil' bro don't get me wrong, but I hate being an airbender. so when aang found out he was going to be sent to another temple I couldn't let him leave alone.
"I'm coming with you aang." i told him.
"no i have to go-" he started "-with me" i inturupted.
"Y/n, i can't be who they want!" Aang said sadly.
"yeah well your bad at lying and need me, so i'm coming." I told him i grabbed my staff and we were off on appa. The rain started picking up i had no clue where we were but we started falling then...
Nothing
I thought i was asleep when i woke up then noticed What seemed like a broken ice speare. I hear aang talking to two people that apear to be Water tribe.
"right and this is Katara my flying sister" The boy said to aang. so i aproach and said
"Nah i think i'm the only flying sister here." I examed them they seemed to be siblings. "so where are we?" i Asked. the boy looked dumbfounded.
"The better question is who are you two!!" the boy barked.
"I'm Y/n this is my little brother Aang." i told him. they seemed to notice Aangs arrows and my lack of Arrows. The girl spoke up finally.
"Are you Airbenders?" she asked.
"unfortunetly" "YES!!" Aang and i said at the same time. I kinda just looked at him.
"then why dosen't she have arrows?" The girl asked.
"I didn't want em i guess." i said with a shrug "So what are your names?"
"I'm katara and this is sokka." Katara told me.
"Isn't it great Y/n We are in the south pole!" Aang told me.
"Better then the temple i bet." I Used my bending and pulled my staff to me. "do you guys live near here?" i asked.
"Yeah do you want us to show you?" Katara replied.
"WHAAAT!? Katara you can't juat show them they could be Fire nation spies!" Sokka over reacted then i realized.
"why on earth would the fire nation even have spies?" I wonderd.
they looked at me concernd.
"how long have we been in the ice burg?" aang asked clearly as confused as me.
"about 100 years by the looks of it." Sokka anserd.
"100 years..." Aang repeated.
"Ok but what's up with the 'fire nation spies'" i said using air quotes
"We've been at war with them sense they whiped out the airbenders." Katara told us, Aang and I did not belive her.
"yeah right anyway can you show us your tribe?" Aang asked with a smile.
soon they led us to the water tribe. I was excited to find somewhere new Aang had friends all over the world but becouse of my so called 'bad behavior' i never met them except for 1, kuzan! that's why I didn't bellieve These two.
"we're here." Sokka told us plannely.
An elderly women came out suprised to see Aang with his arrows.
"Aang, Y/n this is Sokka and I's gran garn." Katara Introduced us.
"call me gran gran." she stated
"nice to meet you I'm Aang and this is Y/n!" My bro cheered.
"They are two airbenders." Sokka explaned. Gran Gran's eyes went wide
"How?" She exclaimed.
"How what?" i asked I didn't get these people.
"the air nomades died out 100 years ago." Gran gran confirmed. Aang still didn't agree. but i finally got it.
"yeah right C'mon Y/n Katara let's go pengwin sledding!" Aang exclaimed.
"wait I'm coming too?" I asked. I didn't want to go but Aang already pulled me along. Honestly it was fun.
"I hadn't done this since I was a kid!" Katara exclaimed.
"you still are a kid!" Aang cheered.
I chuckled at the two. i was happy Aang was having fun... yet I knew he'd try to hide the fact that he's the avatar. When we were all done so i looked around taking in the enviorment then I saw it.
"hey katara what's that?" I asked concerend as I saw A firenation ship Stuck in the ice.
"A reminder... of what they've done.." Katara told me Aang wasn't listening
"Let's go in!" He suggested.
"we can't it's forbidden." Katara explanned.
"C'mon it won't hurt!" Aang grinned and ran towards it.
"AANG NOO!!" I yelled I didn't have my staff on me.
"We have to go after him!" Katara Exclaimed.
"Yeah we do. if anyone finds him it could end badly!" I ran towards the ship Katara following behind me.
